Would prefer some European shows, rather than a new album. although some new songs are appreciated.

Maybe also :
Phoenix
Santa Clara \ Northern California
Oregon
Tampa or Tallahassee
Baltimore or Washington,D.C.
Philadelphia
Boston or Hartford \ New England
There's 17 areas of the country right there with no Stones shows since 2013. For many of them,it has been longer. I'm not counting the Fonda Theatre show last May for obvious reasons.
They would probably pick 12 or so,out of the 17 and play 2 nights in Chicago,L.A.,New York, and Boston. That's if it's not huge stadium venues. Multiple nights sold out in the same stadium might be a thing of the past in the U.S. unless it is billed as a last stand.

They have never been there, what a disaster....
They visited Omaha on their first American tour in 1964 + a bigger bang in 2006.
They´ve performed in El Paso several times. Tucson were visited in 1972 and 1978.

Clapton will release a new album in May, why not Stones?
It is not because Clapton plays lots of his new songs....

I doubt there will be a summer tour, be it in the states or in Europe, as Chuck Leavell will join David Gilmour to tour europe in June and July.
See interview: [www.al.com]
Or it means that a change is coming up on the keyboards section.

It's possible that Clapton recorded at the same studio and he Stones in December. It's also possible he played on a new (old) Stones song.
