An absolute legend who gave his heart and soul to rock'n'roll. Met him a few times and he was always a true gent. RIP Sir Lemmy.

RIP Lemmy.

Unless, of course, you get a better offer or have other plans.

Peace,

A sad day! I have met Lemmy a few times backstage to show him some of my Art- Portraits and He was always Cool and friendly. The Berlin Concert 11.12.2015 was my last one. RIP LEMMY

Listening to my Motorhead 'Best-of' as I type. It's been in my possession for some time, though their music has never particularly registered with me; Ace Of Spades being a notable exception, of course. However, hearing it now, I must say that I'm rather enjoying it. Lemmy is a person who has long fascinated me; I just wish I had paid a little more attention to the mans' music. Goodness, some of it is rather ear-catching.

Farewell, Lemmy.... Very sad day, but at least he made his 70th on Christmas eve...
Met him back on 2006 to interview Lemmy for the BBC Hawkwind documentary that went out the following year - he's well worth watching.

Your video is blocked in some countries (like here in Brazil). I think this is the same documentary, isn't it?

Good question. I don't think so, though.
Probably the universe would have exploded if they had.

If I remember correctly, there is a framed photography on the wall inside 100 club with Lemmy, Keith and Pete Townshend. I guess it must have been from the Stones gig there in 1986.

The Stones didn't play in 1986.

Hot, I think you will find that they did play the 100 Club in February 1986.
