OT: Happy Festivus!

The aluminum pole has been erected. Let the airing of grievances & feats of strength begin. Festivus for the rest of us!grinning smiley

PS: I'm going to see Jerry Seinfeld do standup on Saturday night in Vegas. Should be fun. A very retro 80s/90s weekend with Motley Crue show on Sunday night. A fine way to let off a little steam & dodge what the holiday season has become. Much needed after an epically bad year. Best to all in the coming year.smileys with beer

A Festivus for the rest of us indeed! When I see a Seinfeld re-run on tv, I know which episode it is within seconds usually. Favorite is still The Contest.
One of Motley's final shows (supposedly). I know they signed a contract stating that this is it but I'm sure we'll see a huge reunion tour in a couple years, probably depending on Mick Mars' health.

Festivus has got the best of us...
Anyway, it isn't the same anymore without Uncle/Aunt Sal and his tricks with balls.

Festus Haggen, by golly. I guess they should have spelled it "Festusvus". I have friends who watch Gunsmoke re-runs every day to this day. Don't get why, but each to their own.

One of the sleazy guys sniffing after Elaine in that episode, Tracy Letts, went on to win a Pulitzer and a Tony; he was also the CIA director in Homeland. His Festivus worked out well.

I have some great news: Vandalay Industries has just pledged to donate double the amount you've contributed to the Human Fund.

I've sent everyone FESTIVUS CARDS, about 2 weeks ago. You should have gotten them by now, they were delivered by some postie named 'Newman'.

The pole is aluminum...very high strength-to-weight ratio. Requires no decoration...I find tinsel distracting.
