I think DP is referring to the coloured picture above. It almost looks like a 15inch speaker in that Mesa Boogie. Did they only have one spare amp for 2 guitarists?

You're right about that looking like a 15" speaker! I know there were a few combos made with them but they are rare. I'm trying to figure out what amp it is that we are looking at...I'm guessing an early mkll customized especially for MT. Here is a similar amp from 1986 with a 15" speaker:
