Can one of our fine members from Uruguay speak about a trip from Montevideo to San Paulo, please?
For example, flying? driving? Time? Expense? Hosing in San Paulo?
Sincere good Stones' karma to anyone who might help!

I'm not from Uruguay but I think I can help you with this.
Unless you're willing to spend 24 hours on the road (by car) or 30 hours (by bus), traveling by plane is the best option for you. There's a lot of options for you, with trips that last 2h30 up to 28 hours due to the connections.
On the other way, the bus ticket from Montevideo to São Paulo will cost you around US$ 120.00, while the cheapest plane tickets are now costing around US$ 490.00.

My opinion is that its too far away to go by bus .Definitively best option: PLANE.
Option B: bus from Montevideo to Porto Alegre and plane from there to Sao Paulo. Internal flight, must be cheaper. Montevideo - P. Alegre by bus is 12 hoursand costs aprox U$S 80.-
There are direct flights every day. Bus to P. Alegre: wed 17/2 at 9 pm

Hi Joker! It's a good choice. Behind the central bus station. Not beautiful but fine. I know this hotel. An easy walk to the stadium. Ask for a high floor to avoid some bus noise.
Officialy I really don't know where's the party. Woodstock bar or another? And what about the post party?
See you.
Cheers

PRE PARTY: Monday 15/2 20.30 hrs
WOODSTOCK MUSIC BAR . Lavalleja 1081 (also Vaimaca Peru) Puente Carrasco, in front of Parque Lavalleja and the sea side. Very nice place
Free entrance. You only pay what you drink or eat. Not expensive at all
They are waiting for IORR people. ITs a party for US
My band will be playing some blues and some Stones music. Everyone in IORR who plays or sings something is welcome to the stage. Its a friends meeting . Don´t forget is a Monday.
Fabio Silvera, Rocandosis from IORR, will be playing and singing with us. GREAT artist, don´t miss him. We might have some surprise but i won´t say any more.
We can easily organize an asado with meat and vegetables for the 17 th if its worth it
