I received an invitation of DG Medios by email. Thay said it's a surprise but I believe the Stones gonna check the sound or visit the Staudium, who knows!

TMI? You be the judge: I was in Santiago a few years ago, and as some consider it the most advanced of the S. American countries, a couple yankees in my group drank the water from the hotel tap. I had to go to the pharmacy to get medicine when they got the trots. I told the pharmacist what I wanted and a Chilean woman in line behind me overheard and told me, "It's the water that gave them that." So this was a Chilean woman herself warning yanks off the tap water.

Yes, that's his name. I've made a search on Google and noticed that there are at least 167 "Elvis Gonzalez" on LinkedIn, including a football player.

Opening act for Santiago: Los Tres

The Rolling Stones left Los Angeles Saturday evening, and arrived into Santiago de Chile Sunday morning. Taking Sunday off, they had work to do on Monday. First a photo shoot in front of the Estadio Nacional , with invited press, some 50 photographers. Outside the stadium fences more than one hundred fans shouting Olé Olé Olé as the Stones arrived. I was lucky to get invidet to take some pictures, see below. More pictures to be published on separate Stones in Chile pages soon.

Then two hours of rehearsals on the stage. Some surprises, great to hear Sasha Allen clear and loud. Gimme Shelter is different. She's Like A Rainbow... Anybody Seen My Baby... Pressure Drop... They sound great!

Reports to follow. It's been a long and great day in Santiago de Chile!
