Don't ever underestimate the ability of a $500 guitar to sell a 3.7 million dollar mansion. The problem is they picked a white Ibanez instead of a blond Tele. Any true Keith fan will see through that in a minute.

I'm guessing the Keith factor added $700,000 to the list price. Those kind of things are important in LA.

Assuming the Geological factors are good, the price is almost within reason

Geological or geographical factors? Are you are actually wondering whether the house sits on a fault line?

No, but any home in the hills should have a geological test to make sure the earth hasn't shifted much.

This is the house in question. This, from Bockris.

Calling it a house that Keith stayed in is sort of a misnomer, given, as the article says "All that remains of the original 1930s house is the circular staircase to the California basement — the small basement used to house the gravity-feed heater. The house was rebuilt in 1981 and has since been renovated in keeping with the English Tudor style and feel of the neighborhood."

An interesting set up in the bathroom with the bath right by the window and no curtains/blinds/shutters.....Exhibitionism?!

It's in this fire that he lost several guitars, of which the Zemaitis Macabre 5-string is the most known one.

Perhaps its my lack of imagination, but how come Anita's cousin was only able to see Keith's cock, and no other part of his anatomy?!

Did Keith rebuild after the fire or just sell off the property? The pre-fire home is his "party house".

I thought so. Stars are always building "dream houses" then selling them a few years later. Such as Tom Brady and his wife Gabriel Bunchen. They sold therir ecologically designed house to Dr Dre for 50 million. They never lived in it...or maybe a year before building a house in Brookline/Boston where he is Patriot's GB

4000 sq ft in Laurel Canyon?

I believe it will sell, and without too much of a price reduction, if at all.

Wonderland Park Ave. - Home already has offers on it.
Shows it's worth between 3.1 and 3.4 M depending on source.

Sold for 2 million only 7 months ago! Was that a steal or did flippers go to town on it to cause that much of an increase? [www.estately.com]

It was probably a real fixer-upper at that price.

Looking at the photos (both sets) I would say a substantial amount of work was done.

Keith's Home in (Laurel Canyon) is up for sale. I visited it once to see Keith. It looked a lot different when I was there. I brought over some rare outtakes (at the time) to listen to. We talked about songs they had never released and old Rock n Roll footage. I was working on a history of Rock n Roll show TV show at the time and invited the band to a private screening. They all (except Mick) came over to the office at around midnight to watch lots of their favorite R n B artists and stayed till 3 AM. This was at a time when VH-1, M-TV and You Tube didn't exist .. They kept making request to see anything on their favorite artist. I even had some great old jazz artist for Stu & Charlie to watch. A wonderful time was had by all.
