Well, maybe I was a bit harsh. But I have seen this phenomena with aged (male) celebrities and girls 30 years younger than them so many times I tend to be somewhat cynical about it.
On the bright side she seems to be a very prudent girl which I think is a good thing for Ronnie. I guess she will bring some stability in his life. So, I wish them all the best.

Attaboy! thumbs up

Congratulations to Ronnie and Sally, at least this time around Ronnie will hopefully, actually be there to see the twins grow up. I get the impression that Ronnie has missed 40 years of his family life down to various tours, substances and liquids winking smiley

I hate to be "a Donnie Downer" but I've lived it( paid child support for over 20 years), If I would've been Ronnie I think I would've travel light with her( meaning no more kids) looking at their ages, he could face this down the road, just saying......

No 68 year old man should be bringing children into the world. Give these kids a chance to have a father for most of their lives. Can you imagine being 72 with 5 year olds? or 77 with 10 year olds? Come on now....

As a father of twins myself - I wish them the best of British!

Its not much fun being tag teamed at 2am.....but eventually it becomes a lot of fun watching the bond they have between each other.

Well done Ronnie & Sally.

Cheers

I (respectfully) disagree.

Especially when you consider that Sally is much younger and very able.
Also, their financial needs will be well taken care of. And with older siblings and Uncles there will be plenty of male familial interaction.

Congrats to them both!
I, have an identical twin brother.
My mother says the 1 st was difficult with juggling two infants.
While I'm sure they will have help, it's gonna be busy for them.
Being in my early 50"s I'd do it all over again.
I'm more patient and a light sleeper.

Again, congrats!

its a shame in a way..

the twins are probably not going to see the Stones in concert.

if there's a tour in, say, three years from now...then maybe .cool smiley

I am also a twin. My sister arrived 20 minutes later.
We are not identical in anyway, shape or form...
Not sure where that leaves the science(?) of Astrology.

Well, it would appear that Exhibitionism will be shown until at least April 2020.

Am sure it will include some inter-active stuff to interest a three year old.
(Just need to keep them away from any C S Blues film showings though).

I was hoping for a new Ronnie solo cd, not for new kids.
jeroen

HAH HAH!!

Don't despair jeroen, kids are expensive...I'm betting we'll see more output from Ronnie, even if it's just to get away for a little from all the crying, the bottle feedings, the diaper changings....grinning smiley

Yes, no doubt we'll now be seeing some new $200+ box set releases to help feed the toddlers.

That's what I don't understand about this phenomenon of older men having kids, like Rupert Murdoch or Larry King.

It seems a bit selfish knowing that it's a mathematical fact that you will NOT be alive for them when they become teenagers or enter adulthood. Is it more about vanity, or the desire to feel young again with a fertile woman?

Very odd phenomenon. I'm 37, don't have kids, and don't WANT kids. I already feel like I wouldn't have the energy to look after a kid after working all day, let alone at 65 or 70.
