Also Nils has now COVID confirmed by his wife [twitter.com]

Really curious if Houston Tuesday is going on ?

Damn - the curse continues...it's like the domino effect....
And considering how close Nils is with Neil Young as a member of Crazy Horse, etc. - this might make Neil think twice about coming out of his corona shell and performing again, if that's indeed what his plans were.
With Micah Nelson mentioning a possibility of touring with Neil later year, plans might have been in the making (?). Guess we'll find out in April at the Willie 90 concert where Neil is listed as a performer.

Contrary to what people want to believe, COVID is not over.

It probably never will be...mutations, variants, boosters, anti-vaxxers, covid, pandemic, etc., etc., etc.. these are a few of my least favorite words and phrases,
and I never thought they would be part of our every day vocabulary, but here we are...

Anyhow, hope Bruce and his tour come through it all on a high note for the sake of everyone involved - the band, his fans, etc.
Quite a few bumps in the road already, but the tour is young, and hopefully the nasty jinx will end sooner rather than later.

My, this has become an interesting situation. Steve and Nils infected

Steven's is mild. Many of us have had mild cases of these later strains of covid by now; you're fully functional, just contagious for awhile.

Sit Nils down, double mask Steve and put him in an isolation box on the far edge of the stage, just his guitar wire, coming out of it?grinning smiley

Just funnin'.

Sounds like some dates are probably gonna be getting postponed.

Why are tix behind the stage even for sale?? Is it an open stage ala No Security?

Yes, Bruce always has an open stage in arenas.

The face value for the least expensive tickets was about 60 bucks + fees, as I recall.

Correct, but people can still list resale tickets on Ticketmaster. Those are 100 % legit tickets.

Besides, that Forbes article did not even mention Ticketmaster resales, they had a screenshot from Tickpick.

A quick look at AXS has the lowest-prices ticket (resale) for tonight going for 9.49 USD. The lowest price on Ticketmaster resale is 9 USD.

Wondering if the cheap ticket prices have anything to do with various band members contacting Covid recently.
The uncertainty as to who will actually be in the band and/or who might be MIA might be something that some fans are pondering. Also whether or not the Houston show (and others) will actually go on.
It would be like taking a gamble on Stones tickets and not knowing if Keith will be there, or if Ronnie will be there, or that neither will be there. Or worst case scenario that there will be no show!
I assume some fans don't care one way or another about who is and who isn't in the band, but I'd certainly be miffed if there was no Keith.

I feel kinda sad about this tour. He wants everything - and horns and 20 musicians on stage - but time...is time...The energy is just not there anymore. God knows he´s trying.God knows I love him.

Hopefully Nils and Stevie (along with anyone else in the band that has contacted Covid recently) have fully recovered, and that the show(s) move forward as originally hoped for.
Seems odd timing to announce more shows today considering all of the current uncertainty regarding ill band members in recent days, but might be a good sign that everything is good to go?!

The illness won't matter. & he was probably planning this already.

Wish he would have saved some of the Spring US for summer stadium concerts.

The Autumn dates look good.

They don't. They were already cheap before the COVID news. This is just resellers trying to get at least something for those 60 dollar tickets behind the stage.

Perhaps a dumb question, but what is Ticketmaster verified fan onsale mean? Looking at getting Vancouver tickets.

Shouldn't this always be the way? Why would non-verified people be able to buy at all?

That said, the verified fan thing doesn't stop ticket reselling. It's just something to make it look like TM cares.

Seems to me a lot of amateurs bought into the hype of the alleged "$5000 tickets" and went all in Houston and Tulsa since those were the 2 shows where tickets were actually easy to get.

And this is precisely why I have always advocated for unrestricted resale. I am a big fan of going to any concert if I can get in for $10. If someone else pays a thousand it's not my problem.
