29 songs

Notable changes:

Two Hearts
Out in the Street
Seven Nights to Rock

The Ties That Bind sounchecked but not played

Glad to see he kept 29-30 songs instead of dropping back down after Liverpool 2. I was thinking because of Seven Nights he’d drop Twist & Shout but no. No Surrender was also an audible apparently. Hope everyone there had a great night smileys with beer

It's a fun night out for sure. Setlist-wise, nothing out of the ordinary, except maybe the Seven Nights audible.

The FOS wasn't too packed, plenty of room to move around in the back.

Berlin was the appropriate city to hear "Chimes of Freedom" first time!

For me, it was an incredibly good show.
First I wanted to stay at the back near the barriers in the FOS, but then i couldn't resist moving right into the middle – it was a good decision.
We had nice people around us in the FOS (from L.A., Austria, Danmark, & Germany). From about the 20th row before start, we were in about the 15th row after start.

Perfect weather, not too cold, not too hot.
The setlist was great – from "Murder Inc." (I love that song so much) onwards, everything was fantastic.
After my last concert (Hockenheim 2023) with a very emotional concert (Last Man Standing / I'll See You in My Dreams, etc.), this time it was a very political, angry, or cautionary concert.
I could hardly believe that both "7 Nights" and "Twist & Shout" were played.
Chimes Of Freedom was the perfect ending, 3 hours of full power, hope and joy (okay, 4 minutes were missing) - it was a really great evening...

Youngstown into Murder is a great combo. Memories of the Reunion tour.

Seeing the boss on Sunday what’s with the number thing?

Re: OT: Bruce Springsteen stuff

You go to the venue, take a number, show up for the roll calls at the stated timea. The numbered line gets walked in before the others in orderly fashion.

Totally optional. If you have a FOS ticket and show up when they open the doors you'll still get a great spot.

The people with numbers will occupy the rail but rows 2-3 and beyond can easily be achieved without taking part in the roll calls.

Yeap, I came to the stadium at 3:30, ended up at near the middle of row 7 or 8 among people with numbers. Unless you really want to be in the 1st row (or middle of the 1st-5th row), the effort with numbers is not worth it. Just show up half an hour or one hour before the gates open and you will have a great spot.

The show in Berlin was amazing, a lot fast numbers, Seven Nights was a great surprise, my second time seeng it, the first time being in 2016 also in Berlin.

Edit: - I see, mikey C, that you go on Sunday. Well, that is Prague - the gates open already at 3 p.m. and it wil be really hot. And the FOS is a size of a football field. I go there too and this time I am sure I will come after the gates open, not before.

I’m travelling to Prague tomorrow and staying in the city centre. How much time should I allow to travel to the venue please? Looks like the onstage times so far have been around 7-7:30pm. Weather forecast is very hot for the weekend, but rain is expected on Sunday evening.

The journey from downtown to the venue takes less than half an hour - take the underground C line, then it is a couple of minutes walk. The site is pretty much next to the underground station, but thre is a bus station, a road to cross - a bit of a traffic, but it is close.

I went to the Globe Bookstore and Cafe yesterday for Garry Tallent and Nicki Germaine Book signing the Book is Springsteen at Liberty Hall.I had a great chat with Garry and he signed the books I brought with me…..Curtis Jackson was there also very cool guy…..They still have a few books left not many……Met a few people with the numbers and they had to go to the venue 3 times a day 7am,3pm,7pm.I have never heard of such a thing a bit much but the die hards didn’t seem to mind…..I have standing FOS So I am fine no need to be on the rails for hour’s before the show starts….Plus it will be a hot day but thankfully not as hot as the Stones Show in 2018! They will be running extra Metro cars for the day and night!!! looking forward to this I have had the tickets for 20 Months!!!!!!! Peace.M

Amazing concert the last night indeed. The hot weather during the waiting and the rain during 2/3 of the show didn't take away anyhing from the great experience. Great crowd, great atmosphere and the performance was amazing (as always with Bruce and The E-Street Band). It was my 8th time seeng Bruce, but the first time with my wife, who also loved it.

Wonderful gig last night in Prague. Was around 2hrs 45 mins in length but didn’t. feel like it. Sound was perfect and suitably loud! Bizarre that it started raining at the very start of Rainmaker. Took an hour to get back to the city centre afterwards. Heading back to the UK shortly.

Finally just got through what I believe are all the singles released so far in anticipation of the full box set this Friday. Honestly, feeling more optimistic than I was. None of them are awful. None are the next Born To Run either, but I could get into some new Bruce recordings. Looks like there's been a single from each album so far except one (the LA Garage Sessions disc, which is the one I'm most interested in):

Blind Spot, from the Streets Of Philadelphia album (sounds very much like that and Secret Garden):

Faithless, title track from that album:

Repo Man, from Somewhere North Of Nashville (one of his rockabilly ones he can write in his sleep. Not a critcism, I like when he has fun like this):

Adelita, from Inyo (very Western Stars adjacent. I believe this is presumably the Charro album?):

Sunday Love, from Twilight Hours:

Rain In The River, from Perfect World (kinda feels like some of the stuff on Wrecking Ball. Feels more unfinished and simple than bad to me, but guess we'll see if the rest of that album follows suit):

Steven Van Zandt is missing the next couple of shows (incl. today's). He has had a appendicitis surgery yesterday, see: [eu.app.com]

And there was a break in the show because of heavy rain and thunder.

2025 stats: [www.setlist.fm]

only 3 shows left to go, out of a total of 130 in the last couple of years.

but very probably the ESB will be back onstage in Australia and NZ, in early 2026.

Springsteen's lost albums will be released on Friday. On that day he does a show in Gelsenkirchen. Do we think he'll play any of those lost album songs (even without Steve Van Zandt)?

btw: I wonder why it took so long until someone at this thread reacted to Steve van Zandt's absence. (Hey Topi, is there somethinh wrong with you?)

I don’t expect in the upcoming shows songs from Tracks II but maybe Bruce will surprise the audience

Re: OT: Bruce Springsteen stuff

Doesn't feel like the tour where that stuff is gonna come out. I doubt he's heard those songs much since they were compiled for the box so I'd think if he wanted to play something he'd already have done so. No rule that he couldn't till it was released, and the fact that there's less variety these last few years makes me think its highly unlikely.

highly unlikely.

he started releasing "singles" from the box in April, started touring in May, and hasn't rehearsed/soundckecked anything from it, as far as we know.

Going through Tracks 2. So far easily my favorite song is I’m Not Sleeping. Somewhere North of Nashville as an album is very strong. Cohesive and has a lot of fun rockers
