Sounds about right. The larger they make it, the more of those pricier tickets they can sell, too.

But anyhow, my point was that the French generally call GA "fosse", which literally translates to "pit", whereas the front of stage part is called "fosse or" = gold pit/golden pit.

Nobody said the terminology was easy! grinning smiley

Been checking Ticketmaster website regularly for any new tickets for Vancouver. This morning I checked and there were a few single seats so I bought one for row 1 in the upper bowl right around center ice for only $196 Cdn.
Will be awesome with no one in front of me so I can film a few songs! First time in my life I'll be going to a show myself!

well, I saw the long gone past of rock'n'roll turned into mass entertainment, meaningless party music and cheap thrills. 98% of the audience liked it, of course

Seems he's way more popular in Europe these days than in the USA. especially after the recent overpriced ticket fiasco which alienated many of his fans.

Some would argue that there is meaning in the lyrics. And I guess entertaining the crowd is kind of the point. People go to have a good time.

But since you thought it would be bad going in, at least you weren't disappointed all that much!

And glad it was cheap! winking smiley

He's always been popular in Europe. But "way more" popular than in the USA? I don't know about that. What do you base that on?

in fact it wasn't cheap at all – since German railways planned to go on strike I had to stay in Paris for two more days…

Insert "Darlington County" instead of "Mary's Place" and the setlist is practically the same oas Atlanta's in February.

Yes. Last night was actually the first 100% identical setlist of the tour - it was the same one they played at the first Paris show.

only because he didn't play Born in The USA in the US, I guess…

No, I was talking about Ferrara being the same exact setlist as Paris #1.

While it's true that he only played BITUSA once on the first US leg, there were more variables than just that one song if you compare the US setlists to the Europe ones so far.

Rosalita, for example, has been omitted in Europe so far.

my point was that there were only two shows with identical setlists because no European setlist is the same as any US setlist since he played BITUSA on each an every show in Europe

And my point was that BITUSA isn't the only change he's made. There seems to have been a "wild card" slot or two, but lately he's been playing Mary's Place almost every night instead of switching things up more.

Great swap. Rosalita, I’ve never got into. Bit of a messy shambles. Fun I guess, but nowhere near a favourite of mine.

We got Detroit Medley tonight in Amsterdam. Great setlist, bad sound. No surprise for the Johan Cruijff Arena, though I thought the Stones sounded a little better there last year).
