Why is that funny Slewan? Lots of people sell pre-orders for all kinds of things, i.e. see Stones and GRRR for one example. The shows are scheduled so why not presell the recordings?

I know that Bruce sells sound board recordings of each live show. Does anyone know how long it usually takes after each show for them to become available? Thanks.

If I remember correctly in the pre order they spoke after 3 days you can download the show and later on they send the cd’s if you ordered that

yeah, people preorder a lot of stuff. But usually you know more or less what you get because it has already been produced/recorded. Preordering the recording of a future show doesn't really makes sense – unless you are buying everything and/or go to that show – and even in that case it makes sense to wait whether you enjoy the show or not. And finally preordering only makes sense when either the price might go up or if you think that there might be a shortage of the desired product. But there will never been a shortage of downloads (I know you can also order a physical product).

Woke up at 3 AM with a stiff hip (day 6 post THR), got up gingerly to grab an ice pack, fired up the phone - and there's a live FB stream of Bruce and the E Street Band playing the opening song of their first show in six years!

Last time I saw him he did the River then nothing but requests & audibles for another 2 hours. Show was damn near 4 hours.

Oh, Stevie lost so much weight. People are saying he's got a gastric band done.

watching a couple of videos from the show. I get the impression that the stage is somehow overcrowded

He certainly brought back more backing musicians this time around. On The River tour in 2016-2017 things were stripped down.

I hope he drops a couple and adds "Thunder Road" back in for Atlanta.

The warhorse of warhorses, but so good live.

I’m personally glad he’s brought back the horns and back-up singers. Fills out the sound nicely and gives us some nice horn solos. But sadly, Patti’s vocals still make me wince. Maybe it’s just me?

I am glad Patti usually sits Europe out winking smiley

Nice example of how you can do a bunch of new stuff & still cover most of the warhorses. The only warhorse left out was "Thunder Road" & maybe "Born in the USA". Once the tour gets really going I expect the setlists will get even more interesting. Bruce does tend to change them nightly, sometimes radically.

Re: OT: Bruce Springsteen stuff

He rarely plays BITUSA in North America. It's featured more often in Europe & elsewhere.

Even Thunder Road or a song like The River aren't regulars, despite being some of his most popular songs.

And yes, there will be changes.
