Re: tour rehearsals:

A Red Bank local is steadfast with info citing two weeks of rehearsals starting there the second week of January.

Full thread > [www.backstreets.com]

Bruce himself mentioned January when he was doing press for "Only The Strong Survive".

Thanks. Hoping for an uptempo setlist (with very little political banter).

There usually isn't any "political banter" at Bruce & ESB shows. I've seen over 20 and don't remember any of such kind.

Now, Bruce has been known to appear in campaign rallies (solo), but that's a whole different animal.

Umtempo setlists? You can count on that.

This will be my 5th Bruce show starting in 1984. Always high energy. I prefer the rocking Bruce to Woody Guthrie Bruce.

Apologies though, the Red Bank rehearsals are now rumored to start a week from now.

The first show in Tampa is less than a month away on February 1.

So BTX got it right again.

Less than 6 months before my first show (Hyde Park #2)!

Setlist of first rehearsals:

Not the rehearsal setlist. Note the date.

As discussed on BTX, that's the list of songs played on Jim Rotolo's E-Street Radio show last Friday.

Yep. That "rehearsal" info was dismissed shortly after it was posted.

BTW, source of the image was Jim Rotolo's Twitter.

Yeah, I fell for it just based on a post in a Finnish Bruce fan group on Facebook. I haven't been up to speed with BTX lately - guess I should!

Either way the machine starts rolling in Bruce country.

Wouldn't mind hearing If I Was The Priest live!

Woody apparently is going to do some run-throughs at the Amalie Arena in Tampa. The tour starts in less than a week!

BTW,

I got to wondering whether a "Bruce, there it is!" chant could work at Springsteen concerts.

Who wants to try?

Perhaps only in Vancouver?

LOL, I remember seeing Bruce in Vancouver in 2012 (the day after I had seen Paul McCartney there).

Bruce was like: "We're all Canucks. What the @#$%& does that mean?"

That was the Wrecking Ball tour. Great memories. I think I went to like 9 shows that tour in 2012-2013.

Hey Topi, I remember that! Also saw McCartney the night before. I remember there were rumours Bruce would join him on stage, but didn't happen. Couple weeks prior I saw Alice Cooper at the Queen E Theatre. 3 great shows in a short span!

Apparently there have been face value ticket drops, including pit, for Tampa.

Color me shocked!

Any idea when new ticket drops for Europe? It seems that all Europe shows are sold out which I find hard to believe. Springsteen usually didn't have many sold out shows in Europe. And this tour is quite long by his standards. So my guess is that they blocked ticket sales for now and will release it later.

Read Barcelona dropped not too long ago.

I guess you just gotta get lucky.

And yes, I believe most Euro shows will drop. Maybe a place like Gothenburg might be a tougher ticket.

I know that Bruce sells sound board recordings of each live show. Does anyone know how long it usually takes after each show for them to become available? Thanks.
