Hey CR or Topi have yall heard other tracks from new album? Good??

As I said, I have intentionally abstained from listening to the whole album yet. Not that it matters a whole lot, but I just prefer to wait until the official release. Just out of respect.

Topi I subscribe to Apple Itunes and Sirius XM which has the E Street Channel

These services can be streamed to blasting Bose Speakers!

A day later and 3 listens later, I think its great. Very strong record with a familiar song I feel has been missing since Magic, and I actually think this sounds more like The Rising in a lot of ways. Magic was just an incredible record, but it never sounded like E Street to me. The Rising always did. This album is very good IMO and the only lull is the Last Man Standing, Power Of Prayer, House of A Thousand Guitars stretch in the middle. You could have deleted two of those songs and had a much stronger record, but the songs before and after that bunch are incredibly strong to me.

I'm listening to the new record now. It's fantastic! That's 2 great records in a row (Western Stars the other one). Bruce is having a late career burst of great stuff. I'll be buying this one when it hits the stores next week.

This one is actually making me appreciate Western Stars even more. Seems like that was the record he had been trying to make for awhile and I'm glad he finally did to great results. This one feels more like a record he was overdo to make and I'm glad it seems to have come to him so naturally.

Nils Lofgren's Twitter lit up about the leaked album. Apparently Nils' wife had called out the fans who had shared the leak.

Nils wife, Amy, is on Instagram, and is fearless in her comments on various things. She also posts some nice photos regarding their living in Arizona and the locale. It's interesting that Nils is on Twitter as Amy has stated, more than once, Nils will not have an Instagram account. So, why Twitter?

I assumed Ton was asking if Bruce was joking or being truthful. He was joking.

I assumed he wanted to know whether he said it.
Not entirely convinced your other assumption is correct either.

I don't judge anyone on their political beliefs. That is what makes America great!

We shouldn't base friendships on favoritism to one side or another regardless if it is music, politics or even sports. For example, I don't particularly care for Alabama Crimson Tide, but Nick Saben would be welcomed into my home and treated with respect. Coach K as well.

I like Bruce fine, but one thing I admire about the Stones is no plastic surgery.

I don't think Bruce has had plastic surgery. He's had botox, and hair plugs, but yknow, he hasn't been under the knife or anything, at least to my knowledge. He's a had a few touch ups. Not defending it, I personally think its weird his forehead doesn't move and I'm not sure he really needed any work done, but he's nothing compared to actually getting plastic surgery.

I remember Bruce Springsteen being interviewed by Ed Bradley or Harry Reasoner on 60 Minutes I think it was. He was being interviewed because there was some talk about him being a serious candidate for US President. After listening to the interview, after initially dismissing it as a joke of some sort, I would vote for him in a minute. He was very level headed, progressive, and totally serious. This was some many elections ago, maybe during the Bush elections. I came away very impressed with the man, even though his music never really did much for me, aside from a few spectacular, I admit, songs. But his maturity, his world view, and his experience and background just convinced me that he would make an excellent president and would carry through on the concepts put forth in his songs about working men and women.

If he and Al Franken got together they would be a powerhouse.

It's a shame politics is so polarizing now; debating differences over a few beers was much more fun than hiding behind a computer and saying things you'd never say in person and risk having a drink thrown in your face!
