I post a "who did you see in concert this year" thread every year at this time, and I'm always fascinated by the replies, which run the gamut from long, eclectic lists of little-known artists to "I only saw the Rolling Stones, but I saw them 12 times."

No judgements. It's not a contest or anything. Just curiosity.

This year, I tried to concentrate on artists I had never seen before. Of the 13 acts I saw, I had previously seen only four of them; Webb, Beck, Mason, and Costello.

Simply Red earlier this month but it was only because some friends of mine bought a bunch of tickets already in January this year. They were not bad but not my kind of music.
Guess it's because of getting older (63).
As aid before in another thread here I really said "no, thanks" when I was offered a free ticket for the Stones last year.
I think that the only concert that would thrill would be the "Faces / Jeff Beck Group" thing. But, alas, I don't believe that it will ever happen.

A great idea for a thread and some impressive lists, would be even more interesting if people noted which shows were particularly good (or the opposite).

Only two I'm afraid...

For me Neil Young and Primal Scream were "Special" because those were firsts for me. I've seen Neil with CSN&Y and the Buffalo Springfield (re-union) but not as a solo artist.

As far as the 2 AC/DC shows go, the Glasgow crowd was far better than the lame L.A. crowd. Both venues had loud cheering fans, after each song ended, but Glasgow's crowd seemed more into the music while playing. Another observation, Brian's voice was much better in Los Angeles, but the overall sound was better in Glasgow, but that might have been due to where I was located (almost dead center in Glasgow vs. way off to the side in L.A.).
