My dad was a big fan of bossa nova and big band music, so I grew up listening to both. Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd were two of his favorites. Byrd used to play regularly at a small club in Annapolis, not far from where I grew up. This album was on the turntable many a Sunday morning.

love me some jazz...someone wise (and I forget who they were so I can't give them credit - post here and claim your victory) in another thread opined that coffee, a newspaper and jazz music were the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning and I could not agree more.
