Aside from his National Service in Germany and a plane-stop on an airfield somewhere in Scotland, Elvis never set foot in Europe or the U.K. It’s almost tragic. He was so incredibly huge outside of North America and he wanted to perform here.

Elvis and "the boys" spent some time in Paris and had a wild time. The Lido showgirls would all go over to Elvis hotel and the Lido manager would have to send someone over to get them back so they could do their floorshow. I think this was during a 2 week pass that EP had. The pic of Elvis and Bill Haley was taken during this time. He still never performed in Europe and very much wanted to. That was why he was so anxious to get a federal agent credential from Nixon. He thought that with it he could carry weapons and drugs across international borders and at the time he was planning to tour Europe and Japan in the coming year. Tom Parker turned the tour into the Hawaii satellite special in '73. No visas required.

Nonsense. Elvis was returning to the US on military travel orders and his two hour layover at Prestwick Airport in SCOTLAND is well documented by the press.

Elvis is the King, Chuck is the Godfather and Little Richard the Queen.

mah, if you really want to place Chuck higher than Elvis, it should be "Johnny Johnson being the king and Chuck being the Queen".
