It is a great version of a great song. I love it that it is still in the set list every night (almost). I also like the vibe of the LYL version:

Of course the video with (nearly) all band members is staged, but warming up like this with Chuck is part of Mick's backstage routine. I witnessed them doing other stuff boogie-woogie style like "All Down The Line" - goosebumps all the way!

Oh my god I thought I know it all. And then I found this today:
TUMBLING DICE ( PIANO VERSION )
A part of this was used on the rendition of Tumbling Dice on the 1996 Wild Horses single, edited together with the Paris 1995, March 7, version.
All I found is that this was part on a interactive CDrom-addition of the first Stripped-CDs.
Hell, I want the complete take as an audio, love it so much. Has anybody any idea if this is on some boot or else?

Oh COOL! Never heard past the point on the single!!! That's killer.

I was just looking at all the songs I've seen the Stones sing live. 260 songs total, 95 different songs, 4 played at every show, one of which is Tumbling Dice (along with Jumping Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, and Start Me Up).

I have the other 3 at all of mine but not TD. I don’t mind it being skipped and wouldn’t mind it more if they replaced it with some other lesser played gems on the album.

I wonder if they were inspired by Proud Mary. The rhythm, the ”but baby, I can’t stay” - section and the lyrical hook. Mind you, inspired by, not lifted.

What can you tell me about this version of Tumbling Dice at 3:50 of this video? I have no idea about it. Is it a version found on a bootleg recording? Is it just a cover by another band? I really like it but I have no idea about it.

It's an outtake (early version of Good Time Woman), released on the Crossfire Hurricane video, together with some other rarities.
