Laugh, I Nearly Died

I just love it! Mick puts so much emotion in it and manages not to sound over the top. Someone said it before, it has this Tatoo You/70ies feel to it and I love it!
It's one of my favourite songs from the new album so far!

What do you think?

Reminded me on "Heaven" the first time I've heard it. Don't really know why SOL made it for the first ballad on single....

I think the guitars are especially good...some very nice riffs from what I can hear. Micks vocals are very strong too... I know some won't like it a lot, but I think they are very good..

It's definitely my favorite so far, and then think of the French review of this song...simply no ears or no taste!

sounds interesting - can't wait to hear it. by the by, Al Green is alive and very well with a couple of recent albums that rank with his best work. In case, einte's post above concerned anyone....

It's a real great song, reminds me (also the lyrics) of Mick's Hideaway, but even better.

Man I just heard them all. "Laugh I nEarly Died" sounds so great. That is definetly Jagger with Keith on guitars. I do hear Ron on "She Saw Me Coming". What I also like is the drumsound. Very raw; made especially raw by Gerardo's homedone recording. LOL
Rarely have I seen so much enthusiasm in a thread. Everybody going wild!

Maybe there's a bit more enthusiasm left in the can...

Far from being my favorite on ABB; I regognize the Stoneish soul.
It could fit in at SF or GHS.
More Jagger than Richards in my ears; with a taste of Charlie.
I want a little more flesh & weltschmerzen; which we do get. Also.
I also sense this will grow hugely on me.
