Is Waddy's health okay as far as we know? The man really looks pretty pale.

It's called a studio tan my dear, nothing to be particularly concerned about.

Actually, the closer one is to their natural skin color the safer one is from skin cancer.

You are welcome sssoul.
Keith seems to me very happy, and wow this band rocks! They must do something live! Just a concert or two, and release a dvd, because this is one of the best version of Happy.
Willie Weeks is always brilliant, playing rithmin and guitar like Keith did on the studio version.
Thanks Keith.

Offended, no. But disappointed that you always feel the need to play devil's advocate and shine the spotlight
on all the reasons why people shouldn't have liked something that many clearly did
(just in case they hadn't noticed and had accidentally enjoyed it - that can't be allowed).
But I guess that's the job of a critic - and you do it so eloquently and so often that you almost have me persuaded
that things were indeed as dreadful as you say they were - until I listen again and my blessed cloth ears
tell me that I'm happy hearing this.
That was beautifully said, Green Lady!
"You do not have to love a work of art or a style in order to criticize it,
but you need to understand its attraction for someone who does. ...
Criticism has no significance and no importance if it is not accompanied by understanding -
and that implies the comprehension of at least the possibility of love."
- Charles Rosen
(Not that I think our friend NL lacks understanding! Just ... I like that quote)

LoFL @ Steve smashing his drum kit so hard they had to replace the tom in mid-number!
A small price for such sublime thunderousness I say :E

It's the tom stand that gets replaced.
He's using a vintage snare drum stand (1950s-1960s I'd guess from looking at it)
which is not the best idea as they are not very strong at all.
You can see it gets replaced for one identical to the one the snare is on, much stronger.

I have great respect for Keith, but I do not see anything great in his performance, yet another version of GS, yet another version of Happy, played with its limitations chronic.

Absolutely agree. Just keep Bernard Fowler far far way from it.
Do not get me wrong, I love Keith and I'm happy for his good form, but when the Stones are on tour you Mick criticism for choosing the songs, here Keith could choose to do what he wanted and repurposed pieces such as GS and Happy, not novelty, but if it does Keith okay ....Quote

Yeah one might think that Keef has become the weak link in the band HE assembled... which is pretty ironic.
ME I like to see the Winos are still quite good : they should spend a week in a rehearsal studio, work out 15-20 songs do mutltiple takes, record everything, junk the stinkers, and drop the "live" album on the Net as a "thank you" to ppl who bought "Crosseyed Heart" and generally supported the Winos since 1988.
Keef, it's only a week's work!
