That paragraph alone is loaded with mistakes
A Quick One is from... A Quick One, Bill...
I'm also pretty sure Keith could have vetoed himself in on any instrument he'd like in that super group. It was the Stones's show!
I don't think Lennon would agree to play unless it was the lineup he wanted.
You don't think it was the Stones that wanted them to perform one of Yoko's songs do you?
Wyman's screw-up of saying the Who played "Tommy" is great example of why we can't place too much emphasis on what one person says, especially if it is self-serving ("I wrote Jumping Jack Flash").

What is a "dirty mac" anyway?
I've always thought they called themselves "dirty mag" but didn't care enough to fix the mistake afterwards. But I'm probably wrong.

dirty mac Noun. A worn or decrepit long raincoat or mackintosh, the sort stereotypically worn by men
with a predilection for exposing their genitals in public. See 'dirty mackintosh brigade'.
dirty mackintosh brigade Noun. Collectively, perverts or those who indecently expose themselves.

one could possibly think, after reading Bill's remarks over the years, that
he didn't like Keith very much...

lol!
it's amazing that Yoko's music became such a huge success in this past decade. still blows my mind.
She was a well-respected artist. Many of her followers probably saw/heard the art in her music as well...
Her last album, Take Me To The Land Of Hell, was really excellent.
I thought you were kidding about that title until I looked it up. It truly would've been funny if you'd made that title up so I'm somewhat disappointed. Anyways, carry on.

Please. You sound like her there. She was a con women.
Hey I just took a piss, while screaming, and throwing paint against my wall. I am an artist.
She was a well respected artist before John met her. That's a fact, like it or not.

Why not Entwhistle? He was there. Now that's a supergroup!

Because Keith was the best bassist in the room. Clapton was the best guitarist, Mitch Mitchell the best drummer, and Lennon the best singer.

Great peformance by John, one of the alltime great rock and roll voices.
Not sure that Keith playing bass stands up musically, clearly Bill would have been a better choice.
But Lennon is the real article and its a great number.

Why are you not sure, it's a 12 bar blues? Was it that bad to you?

I'd love it if Jagger ever got around to telling his story.
