Yes. Hopefully before the holidays. It would be smart to release it in time for the holidays.

Meanwhile I have a feeling, this is never going to be released. Maybe 30 years from now as part of the "vaults"-series.

I had my 'sticky fingers live' DVD taken down on you(stupid)tube due to 'copyright complaint' . It wasn't this show ....

And why not release it? This show was filmed professionaly, the download album (10 tracks only) sounds great and there was time enough to do overdubs etc. if needed.

If you're speculating/hoping/wishing then at least put a question mark in the title so we don't waste our time with yet another What If? thread. So not appreciated.

Thanks, no offense but I hate when I see something like "Next Vault Release: Eel Pie Island '63" and I need to take an extra blood pressure pill and it's all for naught.

The question mark was enough for me not to assume it was a release (yet) but the subject matter is far from OT. No worries I say, post as you please, nothing wrong with getting the sentiment out there that many of us are anxiously awaiting this one.

Bring it on I say! I'd buy this one in multiple quantities for stocking stuffers.

It was a great concert. But the mixing and the audio on SF live is not good. I hope they will do a better job for the dvd.

Many said the same about the Brussels download, but eventually we got it in excellent sound

I don't think Fonda sounds as bad as many here think. The distortion on Ronnie's guitar sounds artificial on Sister Morphine and Sway. For the vinyl and dvd it will probably be both mixed and mastered differently

The sound of Ronnie is good in some moments and sister morphine is great. He is brilliant also on Sway during the second solo. I hope they will release a vinyl version

I didn't say it wasn't good, but I have never heard him with that amount of distortion - or at least not with that kind of distortion.

I don't think he's anything special on Sway, but he surely kills it on Sister Morphine

yes, I agree, the header is a bit misleading at first glance. I was at the Fonda Theatre for this show and it was stellar. The 'boys' were on fire! I too, hope it is released on DVD and soon.

I agree we need this one in better quality. Can't forget that Bob Clearmountain said he was forced to mix it with more of a "live" sound for Mick after he had done mixes he thought were already good and he insinuated we would be getting those better mixes on the DVD. Between that and the brickwalling, they really missed the boat for the discrimination audiophiles because everyone agrees, it was a fantastic performance.

No, I haven't heard anything. Soon it almost feels too late to release a DVD, considering the new tour in South America and maybe a new reissue of an album in pipeline.

Bob Clearmountain has said he has done a mix for the live DVD so obviously they have put effort into the production of such a release. I was hoping it would be released in time for Christmas but perhaps some marketing genius thinks the iTunes download is good enough for now and that a future more distant date would produce more revenue. Perhaps sometime during the SA tour when the Stones are on everyone's lips?

There was also talk of a Sticky Fingers documentary and this release being somehow tied to that. Recall all taped fan interviews done before the show, apparently to be used in an upcoming documentary?

I'm first in line for this one, if and when they ever do decide to pull the trigger!

I'm 2nd in line, I really, really want this- in another thread someone mentioned a theater release? Rather get it in my own home to view...please.
