In the Tennessee woods

It's truly beautiful country...good for Mick. He seems to really enjoy nature, I was impressed that he went out in the brutal heat to visit the sights in Nashville during the tour stop last June.

Nice pic, thanks Johnny.

According to the Tennessean, this was while he was in town for Swift show.
Radnor Lake is an area I hike, and do photography.
I woulda loved to have met Mick on one of the trails.

Mick was at the Death From Above 1979 (Canadian punk band) show at Jack White's Third Man Records in Nashville tonight. Came out and stood near me for a couple of songs, then walked right theough the shop area where we were waiting to preorder the live album on his way out. All-time distance between me and MJ now narrowed to 3 inches.

From a distance everyone can look like 25 on a low quality picture like that, halfway in the shade and with dyed hair.... his color selection is awful btw, but thats just my opinion, I´m no fashion designer.

Can't believe I met the amazing @MickJagger at the @taylorswift13 tour! I'm trying so hard 2 keep my cool in this pic he was so kind to me and came and spoke to me about high notes! Can't believe I got to meet such a legend, and watch him perform. I was just blown away by his presence, this weekend was magical!

25?? Let's not get carried away. He could pass for being in his 50s at best from that distance, and that's still a compliment.

Careful DP, I suggested the same thing on page 8 of this thread and got shot down quickly over it.

I still wonder if (hope) we might be onto something in the theory.

Peace,
Mr DJA

micks in nashville to either-

1.single handedly destroy rock and roll and everything it ever stood for and ruin the stones legacy by singing a song.

2.have some away time to think up funny names for keiths record now that it has officially bombed.so far he has "crosseyed heart, the new monkey grip" and "33,000 fans cant be wrong"

3.he's working with jack white on something

None of the above, lem. He's there to commune with nature. Taylor Swift just happened to be there at the same time.

Well Taylor was asked to duet in 2013, and however some of us might think that it was somewhere between a bad judgement call and simply unnecessary. The fact is when Taylor asked Mick to be her guest, it would simply be rude not to return the favor.

And now let's imagine that some of Taylors fans watched that show and saw what a lot of us saw as well, that a 72 year old icon completely outshined her. if all that did was to have let's say 20 of them go back and discover Exile, Beggars, Some Girls even... Wouldn't it be worth letting go of your "things should be like they were 40 years ago ODC issues"?;-)

Just saying! :-)

I thought MIck did a great job, looked like everybody there had fun and those who think he ruined the Stones brand or whatever... whatever!

HAH! Mick can't be any worse than I am. He can come hang out with me by the french fry basket...that's the best thing about the bowling alley.

It looks (from the decor) very much like Jack White's bowling alley in his house.
