It looks like 2016 will be the year I've been hoping for for so long! Paradiso '95, San Jose '99..maybe Shepherd's Bush '99 too...can't wait!smiling smiley

San Jose??
San Jose April 20, 1999 was the final U.S. No Security show filmed by Showtime but never broadcast because Mick thought they were "overexposed" at the time.

I know, but but... will it be released??

Don't we already have LSTNT? I can't see how this is different. Outdoors. Setlist. Balloons.

Outdoors. Setlist. Balloons. True. But each show is different, so I am happy to get Leeds in decent quality.

LSTNT was a disappointment, especially soundwise. At least on the (stereo!)VHS I bought then. Leeds is top notch soundwise. As good as Still Life. The filming and editing is questionable though.
But to me the sound is number one. I would put Leeds before LSTNT anyday.

I was in leeds in 1982. Saw this great gig. Very happy to watch it on bluray. . Pls stop complaining. .. A few years ago YOU and i payed 75 euro for a 2cd audience. . So be thankful for what we get from the vault. Richard

Leeds is an important release.
It's the last time that Ian Stewart played with the band and also the last time the Stones played live for seven years. Indeed, at one point it looked like it might be the last time they ever played together at all.
I prefer it to Hampton and I'm looking forward to getting it.

I`m very happy and looking forward to get a soundboard audio and film of the 1982 tour.

1982 were my first Stones gigs. Before the tour started I already got the nearly complete Hampton concert on a record fair. Having this in spring 1982 was quite rare at the time. Till today Hampton is one of my favourite Stones concerts ever.

So in a way the biggest surprise of all archive releases was Leeds 1982. What a fantastic gig! We never had a thrilling soundboard bootleg from 1982. What I`ve heard on bootlegs was never the same I remembered in concerts ( Berlin Waldbühne, Cologne). Leeds is kicking ass and it is indeed differnt to 1981 if you have a musical ear. Very different cause the band is different.
Gene Barge instead of Ernie Watts, Chuck instead of Mac. They sound more loose, punkier, Jagger `s singing is better. I still love Hampton, but Leeds is important to all who attended the 1982 tour.thumbs up

What Deltics and you said...plus Bobby Keys and exactly three weeks after my first Stones show in Cologne.
I'm looking forward to this release.

Keep it coming!!! One can split hairs about what they are choosing to release but i'll take whatever I can get. Ian Stewart's last show and one of the best of 1982 is fine by me. It's about time the Stones realized what other bands like The Grateful Dead and The Doors learned a long time ago...that their live archive is extremely profitable. Now that they are getting Tokyo '90 and Leeds '82 out of the way in short order, what else do we know is sitting in the can pro shot that they could easily release?

San Jose 1999
Atlantic City 1989
Paradiso/Brixton 1995
Double Door 1997

What is available from the 1970s????
El Mocambo '77?

I doubt that Atlantic City 89 will be released as there would probably have to be clearance's obtained for all the special guests.

I can't wait for this release. From the available clips I have seen its an afternoon show ? Or does the sun set halfway thru it ? I hope it's all daylight as it's much clearer vision in the day

I think the Rewind video features parts of this show for the "Start Me Up" live clip and it looks pretty much like it is still in the afternoon to me.

I personally can't wait for this release since I am a huge admirer of the "Tattoo You" tour, even though I prefer Mac and Ernie Watts I can't wait to see Bill swinging with his Steinberger and doing the awesome bass solo for "Miss You". The clips on youtube show Keith on fire, like he has something to prove and as someone noted Mick on "Little T&A", yeah!!

1982 was my first Stones Tour as well and I have great memories! I enjoyed the outdooor shows and was thrilled to see them at Frankfurt Festhalle. It´s been taken a long time till we can enjoy a real superb soundboard recording and even a Video of this tour. And yes, they sound different to 1981. I always loved that 1982 version of Angie. It´s so pure and rough. It´s not only Angie, that was played like that, it´s their last Rock´n Roll Tour. All the Tours, that followed were different. The so called Vegas Era. I do like the later tours as well. Time is changing and they were clever enough to modify their shows, so still many people come to see their shows. Otherweise we couldn´t still see and enjoy them.
Anyway, I like this vault release a lot!

I believe it is dark by the time they do Satisfaction. I'll try to find the video.

EDIT: Sorry, that was London I saw.

There was also a TV pay per view from Miami '94, which has a nice acoustic mini set.

Well, it's profitable, but not extremely. Any Stones Greatest Hits compilation shifts 50 times more units.

"Vault" means any older material that is previously unreleased officially.

The official release of Miami runs only 90 minutes. I have the VHS-version, later they sold a DVD that was enormous expensive, as far as I remember. A complete version including audio-CDs would be welcome, although it is floating around unofficial in very good quality.

They did good shows in 1998-99, sure there is something worth to be released.

If next is Toronto 2005, I would be very pleased.

The bootleg cd had the same quality as the DVD release (if memory serves - I still got it somewhere), and Beast Of Burden and the others were included.

I have the VHS as well.

The next thing after Leeds 82 should be something related to Stripped.

Also - I wouldn't mind a decent remixed and high quality DVD of Atlantic City...
