Mr.DSan Jose April 20, 1999 was the final U.S. No Security show filmed by Showtime but never broadcast because Mick thought they were "overexposed" at the time.Quote

Don't we already have LSTNT? I can't see how this is different. Outdoors. Setlist. Balloons.

I`m very happy and looking forward to get a soundboard audio and film of the 1982 tour.
1982 were my first Stones gigs. Before the tour started I already got the nearly complete Hampton concert on a record fair. Having this in spring 1982 was quite rare at the time. Till today Hampton is one of my favourite Stones concerts ever.
So in a way the biggest surprise of all archive releases was Leeds 1982. What a fantastic gig! We never had a thrilling soundboard bootleg from 1982. What I`ve heard on bootlegs was never the same I remembered in concerts ( Berlin Waldbühne, Cologne). Leeds is kicking ass and it is indeed differnt to 1981 if you have a musical ear. Very different cause the band is different.
Gene Barge instead of Ernie Watts, Chuck instead of Mac. They sound more loose, punkier, Jagger `s singing is better. I still love Hampton, but Leeds is important to all who attended the 1982 tour.

I can't wait for this release. From the available clips I have seen its an afternoon show ? Or does the sun set halfway thru it ? I hope it's all daylight as it's much clearer vision in the day

Keep it coming!!! One can split hairs about what they are choosing to release but i'll take whatever I can get. Ian Stewart's last show and one of the best of 1982 is fine by me. It's about time the Stones realized what other bands like The Grateful Dead and The Doors learned a long time ago...that their live archive is extremely profitable. Now that they are getting Tokyo '90 and Leeds '82 out of the way in short order, what else do we know is sitting in the can pro shot that they could easily release?
San Jose 1999
Atlantic City 1989
Paradiso/Brixton 1995
Double Door 1997
What is available from the 1970s????
El Mocambo '77?

There was also a TV pay per view from Miami '94, which has a nice acoustic mini set.

The official release of Miami runs only 90 minutes. I have the VHS-version, later they sold a DVD that was enormous expensive, as far as I remember. A complete version including audio-CDs would be welcome, although it is floating around unofficial in very good quality.
They did good shows in 1998-99, sure there is something worth to be released.
If next is Toronto 2005, I would be very pleased.

The next thing after Leeds 82 should be something related to Stripped.

That's what the rumours say, isn't it? Wouldn't mind that at all!
