With the fast flowing media of today hits are even more important than what they used to be. Few have the patience to listen to full albums anymore.

Which makes the other thread about "who will be remembered in 300 years time" seem even more absurd !

Oh boy, this is getting cryptic...
I'll be back when the album is out.
No s*$t. How can we discuss an album, for 86 pages no less!, that no one with any real juice knows crap about? They always keep the lid on these things until they want to tell us.
Really....loads of speculation but none of us will know ANYTHING till some new music by The Rolling Stones finally hits the eardrums! THEN, we'll have something to talk about! Till then...all speculation and wishes...
Disagree. There are ways to find things out.

Oh please no.. Please let Keith do a new barbarians CD..please don't let him play anymore..it's awful..let Mick and Charlie carry on, let Rinnie do the Faces tour..and let's get on with it..Keih is a icon.. But frankly at this point, the most expendable of the 4..sorry BV the boy stinks live anymore! He can't play..only poses!bye Keith, besides the next record will be from Mick's collection of home studio..Keith put out a new CD last year..I needed a 8ball to revive me it was sooooo boring!

I've heard about 2-3 weeks of final work for the album on June/July in London.

The best they could do is an blues/roots album. On their first albums they did many various wonderful stuff:
- pure blues
- Hooker boogie
- soul ballads
- Chuck Berry style
- Bo Diddly style
- Elmore James style
Here some wishes:
- Do some jamming songs with Mick Taylor, Ry Cooder, sax solos, ...!
- Do some duetts or trios on a few songs! Only Mick and Keith f.example; or Keith and Charlie!
- I love Mick on Harp! Keith could sing and Mick plays fill-ins on harp!
- No more boring Keith-ballads please!
To fulfill the circle, they should please do that again! Put some fast rockers, too on that album an it would be perfect!
And yes! Crossed H. was mostly boring!

That sounds great! Looking forward to new music by the Stones. The new single release is still up for late September?

So, the Stones will come back in the studio about mid June till early July and then they'll mix the album...Two CD's one of old Blues Standards and another one of new stuff will come out in October with the first single out at the end of September...Can't wait!!!
