Thanks. And while the band confirmed this, things still could change. But barring them scrapping the entire project, I think it's going to be a great Fall. And to those complaining about what the record should be like, or sound like....just be happy they are still working in their 70's.

Speaking for myself, because I have been disappointed with all their new albums ever since Dirty Work. So, not much reason to hope for something good. I'd much rather they'd all concentrate on their solo work. At least Keith's solo work is great (admittedly not as great as the Stones' greatest, but that's been decades ago) and the rest could do whatever they want and make other people happy.

So, great news the Stones will include some great blues tracks on the new album..probably. You never know if they will skip some of them, or put them on the Deluxe edition of the new release. Anyway, i am very excited about the upcoming new release from my favourite band !!
furthermore, as Jagger has said, some UK gigs!!! I hope it will be this fall. Really would like to visit the UK once again.
Cant believe it, that after my first concert in 1976, The Hague, Holland, i am probably gonna see them a few more times. I told my wife , my intention is to see them on the next leg of the Tour maybe 3 or 4 times. So.. we are saving money on presents, dinners etc etc. All for a good cause, which is to make me HAPPY !!

Hoping Mick can show a little restraint with his vocalizations for the new album - especially any blues tunes.
Enunciating and over-exaggerating every single word will make it difficult to enjoy.
Wondering if there will be any blues instrumentals with Mick on harp...hope so!

Please mick, just double, triple track the vocals, and some ragged harmonies, and mix em low. That would have improved the chorus of DandG and most of the recentish stuff no end!

CRAZY MIXED UP WORLD (Keith did this one live).
(HIGH) TEMPERATURE (done in rehearsal 1978 and in studio 1985 KR vocal)
Because the name of LITTLE WALTER came up on this thread I am listening to a great double CD album now called LITTLE WALTER Blues With A Feelin'(Chess Collectibles volume 3).
Don't think THE STONES can top this, but it would be a great tribute to their one of their bluesheroes.

Then again I heard t on the preconcert tape thingy on periscope for Argentina so maybe that is why its stuck in me head??!!??but Ronnie said they were doing little Walter covers and keith said he wants to hear mick on harmonica more so its gotta be my babe..

"Little Baby" isnt boring, it is GREAT - outstandig great. It did show that they had lost nothing from what made them so great in the beginning. The song itself maybe just another blues, like there are thousands - but the way they execute this song is breathtaking & marvelous. Especially Mick is in great form, listening to him on Little Baby should make most fans want to kneel and pray.
