There is a complete bootleg, not sure if it's the complete show.

I'm in close touch with insiders in the Naturalist camp - not the same ones you are, they don't even know you - and apparently there is nothing the matter with Naturalist.

Let's hope next year we can say, there is a complete El Mocambo! Something for the Stones to take care of. After Brussel's it's the most requested Vault Release by far.

Complete Mocambo means two complete gigs:

A release of these gigs would be a dream come true. I´m not too proud to beg, Mr. Jagger, I´m down on my knees, under your thumb, a squirming dog if you want me to be but please please release this gems.

I'm sure Mick will prefer to have us fans infected with Ebola rather than let us hear some of the "tunes" that were played during these two shambolic nights.
The dreadful Worried About You comes to mind... confused smiley

"The complete El Mocambo" would be the greatest live-release ever. It would be even better than LYL and LA Friday. Worried About You isn´t dreadful, it has so much feeling, it can bring you to tears. If I want perfection, I can listen to the studio-recordings. The more chaotic they play the more charming they are sometimes, imho. It should be released with all the imperfections and without any overdubbing. I have the bootleg "Stereo Mocambo Reels" and it´s great stuff, it´s pure Stones, the heart and soul of the Stones. Their performance ist overwhelming... I am lost for words, listen for yourself...

Agree, total wreck but it is fun to hear the Stones taking risk anyway.
People fantasize given the setlist and stories around the show (Trudeau, Keith arrestation), but listening to the acetate tracks available, you can not say it's the best show of their career.

Strange that you say that; Worried About You together with Dance Little Sister from El Mocambo 1977 are some of my favourite live RS performances (*after the MT years) ;-)
I dig the way Jagger sings WorriedAboutYou; and yes....it's obvious that he's anxious about this song; but that makes it even more "live" IMO

they should just release it already. The kitsch factor alone is huge.

Bet it outsells every 'from the vault' release they've done.

I think they've hit the quota of Toronto performance releases...Jagger says no more

Am I the only one not knowing that Worried About You was already in a setlist before Tattoo You came out?
I'm astonished. + speechless.
And an idiot too may be.smiling smiley
So:
Did they play it during the former 75/76 tour as well?
And on the 1978 US Tour?

I believe Mocambo '77 was the first outing of Worried About You. There are studio outtakes of the song from the '75 Munich sessions.

Judging by the sketchy performances of LA '75, Marquee '71 and Hyde Park '69, I don't expect as much of Jagger's quality control as I used to do, which is a good thing, I suppose, as long as they keep churning out things in the vaults series. (On the other hand, when it comes to audio releases, the archive is much larger.)

I agree Erik! I love how they did Worried About you and Dance Little Sister Dance! Great raw versions full of energy, soul, and grit!

what does Mick say as he is introducing Charlie...since the album came out I've never quite gotten it.

I hear something like "Charlies not so off, maybe" but that really doesnt make sense.

perfect. us astonished, speechless idiots need to stick together.

they didn't play it in 75/76 nor do i think they played it in 78. el mocambo was one of the last times i think they played an unreleased song live.

Maybe they thought they'd put it on the proposed live album.

I knew 'Worried About You' was written well before Tattoo You, as it is, I'll say it, my very favorite Stones track. It slays me. Every time. Female of me maybe, but it is what it is. A killer!
Exile fav album.

So this live version here I just listened to, ya, thank you. I'd buy that for sure.
