Something about a touring unit of Mick, Keith, Charlie, Woody, Lane, Mac and Bobby Keys just makes me smile.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has thought this! Nothing against chuck and darryl, but I love Plonk and Mac's playing so much and Mac already showed he could fit with the stones (musically at least) and as if the addition of those two when Stu and Bill left the fold wouldn't have taken the band in a more positive direction.
The only downside I could see would be if Ronnie wouldn't want to just be the bass player for the stones, I don't know if he would be content not being a big contributor or how much he would be allowed to contribute to the band.
Although it would obviously never happen, one can only imagine how it could have been (it's possible it could have been a disaster too).

Yeah, was Great. Saw them at Bospop festival Weert,Holland. It was very joyful and great.
