As a matter of fact, at least here in Milano, there was no energy level drop when they played non hits like 19th or Ghost Time. Quite the opposite: even my young daughters joined the Out of Time sing along, and they never heard the song before!

And I didn't hear one single complaint because they didn't play Brown Sugar or IORR.

I remain convinced that the only truly unreplaceable song is Satisfaction as the last encore.

For the rest of the list, they have so many great songs in their repertoire that they could just play anything!

It was omitted quite successfully on No Security......

I would like to know why have not they played its only rock n roll? With 4/5 shows still left, they at least should once play Its only rock n roll.

They swapped it out for 19th Nervous breakdown ....(which imo at least, sounds a lot fresher and energetic.

set-lists may change and evolve...

Very tired of this song. However the way Keith played Bitch in Brussels made me think IORR would be great this tour. But would be happy if they kept it locked away this time to be honest.

I'd like to have it back in the setlist. Same goes für "Brown Sugar".

They've played it over 800 times. Don't need to hear it again. Best versions were in 1975-76 and 1997-2003. It was just boring and lifeless when they played it 2012-2021.

The one let down of the Vienna concert was Gimme Shelter .Sashas solo spot was just dreadful

Brussel letdown too. But heard very good versions and this song is one of the best ever. Will never get tired of it.

Can't recall at the moment, but has All Down the Line been played yet at any of the current shows? If not, hope it makes a return.
The last I recall it was played at L.A. #2 last year, and what a fun show it was with an intense SFM as opener, and Beast of Burden as the songvote choice...

Gimme Shelter is by no means an essential song in the setlist. They didn't play it for most of the Voodoo Lounge and Bigger Bang tours and no one cared!

Especially nowadays with Keith's tentative intro and Mick's restrained singing with the overdone female vocals on top I just can't stand it. Wished they stopped playing it.

I wonder: When they finally quit - does that mean the end of the setlist speculations (whining or fanboying) as well? Or will they continue in eternity?

I stopped complaining about their setlists many, many years ago already, and boy, that was hard, probably much harder that stop drinking, smoking or doing drugs, not quite like stop having sex probably, but still... It's hard to realize that the Stones don't play for you alone, but for thousands of people... Hard to realize one is not the center of the universe...

i'd go further still

i think they should swap there opening and closing songs

do a shortened satisfaction as a opener drop keith's solo and play it faster then right into 19thnb

and play a extended version of sfm with ronnie taking the solo as a closer

i'd have a mild heart attack then he'd play apartment no. 9 and i'd literally die

which is a shame because i'd love to hear him perform that song

Looks like we’re down to 18 song setlists. Maybe it was due to the heat? We’ll see…

And when was the last time Gimme Shelter wasn’t played?

A last-minute decision (GS was on Ronnie's setlist, but they dropped it). Probably not a permanent change.

Belly Up 2015? As for public shows I'm guessing O2 #3 2007.

Saw that after posting. Didn’t seem to be planned. Possibly they had that as an optional song due to the heat. Who knows? I do know they have slowly been shaving songs off the setlist over the years. In 2015 I saw 20 songs (Nashville). In 2019 I also saw 20 (D.C.). Nashville 2021 had 19. Florida 2021 had 17.
