I just hope they will mix up the second part of the set somehow. I loved the years of the b stage where there where 2 songs which were not standard setlist

They should do Rocks Off as their opener as a nod to Exile's 50th birthday.

I'm sure there will be a song vote. But a song vote is relatively pointless as long as there is one (or maybe two) well known songs and three (or two) lesser known rare songs to vote on. The well/better known songs will always win
(for example: put Let it Loose, Dead Flowers, Going Home and I'm Free in the song vote and guess which song is going to win…)

Its nice that Mick posted that video asking what we want to hear, but come on, do you think he really means it?
They have been teasing us for years with the same songs for the "fan vote".
Dont get me wrong, I will take whatever they give us and still appreciate it,

But this video is an even bigger tease and frankly I feel its a little bit of patronizing towards us fans.
Sorry but Mick should put up or shut up!

Haha. It is also bit rhetorical question: like the first post pointed out, if Mick would be democratic and count the votes, he would reply something like, 'well, we already are playing the songs you guys want, thanks for confirming our current setlist'... The problem with us hardcore fans with our acquired taste is that the latter varies so much... Our favourite 'obscurities' vary so much to make a strong case for any individual cut... Perhaps Mick should ask which song we don't like to hear, we might find more consensus...

The space for changes in the setlist is about 2-4 songs, the vote song included. From gig to gig it is about 1-2 songs. All in the first third of the show. From song 7 and forward the setlist is...set.

Time is on my side! A true gem. Bring it back, please.

I'd like to hear this one, too. It's a little puzzling that such a well-known number has only been performed once since the 1981-'82 tour.

Almost 24 hours ago, Mick Jagger posted a video on the RS instagram page asking fans what they would like to hear on the setlist. With 3,700 comments and counting, you might be surprised by the amount of people asking for "Satisfaction", "Sympathy for the Devil", "Start Me Up" or "Jumpin' Jack Flash". Since these suggestions seem to represent the average fan's expectations, it would be interesting to see what the more hardcore fans in this forum would like to hear.

So what are YOUR suggestions? And where would you place them? What would be a good opener? What would you like to see Keith singing? What about Stage B songs? And which closer would send you off home with excitement and happiness in your heart?

The whole thing is clickbait nonsense. It cracks me up that there are actually people replying with 'Start Me Up' and 'Miss You' ffs as if they were unlikely to have been included.

They did the same thing on the Stones' facebook page before the Hyde Park shows in 2013. I replied 'it doesnt matter - you'll play what you want anyway', which obviously must have triggered the sensitive soul who runs their page as I've been banned and blocked from it ever since! smiling smiley

Choose 3 Songs From ABB To Be Played This Summer That Have Never Been Played Live Before
Posted by: ProfessorWolf ()

ok so this is just for fun and it isn't gonna happen

but let's say mick decides to drop 3 warhorses from the set list and replace them with 3 never before performed songs off a bigger bang

and i know this album isn't in anyone's top ten (except me) but we all complain about the static unchanging setlists

so hypotheticaly if they played 3 songs from abb that have have never been played live before at each show during this upcoming tour what would be your picks

and no under the radar or we don't wanna go home picks just tracks off the album

i think the tracks that have been played already are

rough justice, infamy, this place is empty, it won't take long, rain fall down, streets of love, back of my hand and oh no, not you again

my picks are

1. laugh i nearly died

2. biggest mistake

3. dangerous beauty

Since the space in the setlist for new or rarely played songs is about 1-4 songs including the poll song I wouldn't pick three from ABB. One though. Why not "Oh no, Not You Again"? They did that one at Julliard.

It Wont Take Long ..... savage lyrics

Life is short, one look and it's over
Comes as quite a shock
All I got is some memories
Stuck in an old shoebox

And it won't take long to forget ya
You know I'm never wrong
It'll all be over by Christmas
No, it won't take long

I agree! It seems crazy, and quite unnecessary, to ask for any of the warhorses, such as both of those you mention. These will be played at most, if not all, performances. Start Me Up certainly will. Miss You may not feature every single time, but will certainly feature strongly across the tour.

For what it's worth, the tracks i'd like to hear - none of which will feature - are as follows

Child Of The Moon
Respectable
Off The Hook
Memo From Turner (arguably NOT a band track, but a Jagger solo)
Jig Saw Puzzle
Little Rain
Little Red Rooster
Dandelion
Spider And The Fly
Little By Little
Saint Of Me
Gunface
Suck On The Jugular
Baby Break It Down
Casino Boogie
plus at least another 20-25 but hey..

Yep. I second that. An overlooked classic.

But I also love "She Saw Me Coming" for it's attitude. Full of Jagger-swagger.

"Back of My Hand" would also be relevant at this time.
