I saw them twice on the VOODOO tour but this version is the best I've ever come across.

You Got Me Rocking - NO SECURITY
You're right. Fantastic version!
I also like this one from Brixton 1995 a lot: [www.youtube.com]
Look how Keith is rocking

LOL that's hilarious. That is quite cooking.

It's weird how the studio version is so lumbering, the live 94-95 versions are a bit more up but the 97-98 versions are soaring.

Mick sez to Keef: "come on babe", was at this gem and also the next night.

1. "You Got Me Rocking" – 3:26 (Amsterdam Arena, 6 July 1998)

Does anyone know the couple on the No Security cover?

Here is one from Paris: [www.youtube.com]

Wolfgang Dusek, Birgit Lötsch.

...the guy was an optometrist and the woman was a
tattoo artist and body piercer. They were not a couple.

It's from the 7-11-1998 Austria show.

what's the story of how they ended up on the cover

Re: You got me rockin...
Date: December 7, 2021 19:31

The problem with "You Got Me Rocking" was that by the 2005-2006 'A Bigger Bang Tour',it had well worn out its welcome.

'94-'06 it was performed more than many of the warhorses.

By 2005,people were hoping for something else instead. Some people would have rather heard another old song instead and some people would have rather heard another modern era song instead. Not many were going to a concert in '05/'06 hoping to hear You Got Me Rocking after it had been performed so many times leading up to that point.

Finally,I think that it was on the fall 2006 tour or in 2007,they started easing up on it.

Now,it is only played from time to time which is more appropriate but,it is rarely in favor of another modern era song.

He was working sound security. He was nearby the area for the photo shoot. He was asked to stand by her. CLICK.

That's it.

SIXTY European Tour 2022 - Setlist Expectations
Posted by: steadyrollinman ()
Date: March 21, 2022 16:31

Almost 24 hours ago, Mick Jagger posted a video on the RS instagram page asking fans what they would like to hear on the setlist. With 3,700 comments and counting, you might be surprised by the amount of people asking for "Satisfaction", "Sympathy for the Devil", "Start Me Up" or "Jumpin' Jack Flash". Since these suggestions seem to represent the average fan's expectations, it would be interesting to see what the more hardcore fans in this forum would like to hear.

So what are YOUR suggestions? And where would you place them? What would be a good opener? What would you like to see Keith singing? What about Stage B songs? And which closer would send you off home with excitement and happiness in your heart?

Give me midnight rambler, sympathy and satisfaction and I'm okay with that xD

It's their 60 year celebration. Therefore this topic might be worth discussing more than it was over the last years. They played a good amount of rarities on the 40 and 50 anniversary tours.

Still I expect a 80 percent war horses setlist. Maybe they'll play not fade away, what I'd love to hear, the last time , time is on my side and nineteenth nervous breakdown in rotation to have some more 60s songs to represent their 60 years. After all it doesnt matter what they play, the rarities are just for hardcores. Most of the people go to the stones for the first or the last time, give them what they want. They'll do something special, I'm sure bout that, but let's not expect too much.

It's about celebrating. I can enjoy JJF as much as Dancing with mr D.

Of course they'd always plays Satisfaction, Start me Uo, Paint it Black or JJF and Midnight Rambler, cannot see them dropping any of these hahah...

I commented on Mick's post that I hope they're gonna play Let it Loose, 100 Years Ago, Almost Hear You Sigh, Salt of the Earth...I also would love to hear Worried about You or Mixed Emotions or Sweethearts Together...Rip this Joint would be neat too...there are too many...I'd love for Keith to play Thru and Thru,it doesn't have to be a 6 minute version lol

I got no expectations…

except for:
- min. 75% hits
- more or less the same show as always
– since it's their anniversary tour they might add one very early song

The site of the Johan Cruijff Arena says this:

Unique set list
As you'd expect for their 60th anniversary celebrations, the Stones will be treating fans to a unique setlist, packed with classics such as "Gimme Shelter", "Paint It Black", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Tumbling Dice", "(I Can" t Get No) Satisfaction', 'Start Me Up' and many more. But it wouldn't be a Rolling Stones concert without some surprises per performance; this also includes a selection of unexpected choices from their enormous ars of songs. SIXTY will have a brand new production, including a huge stage, special light show and video design, all specially crafted for this highly anticipated European tour. In addition, British designer Mark Norton created a special new version of the Rolling Stones tongue, the band's trademark.

Its nice that Mick posted that video asking what we want to hear, but come on, do you think he really means it?
They have been teasing us for years with the same songs for the "fan vote".
Dont get me wrong, I will take whatever they give us and still appreciate it,

But this video is an even bigger tease and frankly I feel its a little bit of patronizing towards us fans.
Sorry but Mick should put up or shut up!

Stray Cat Blues would be great!

Mother's Little Helper or Take It or Leave It
Emotional Rescue
Time Waits For No One
Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)
Stop Breakin' Down
Parachute Woman
Factory Girl
Loving Cup
Don't Stop
Losing My Touch

I have a different opinion on this topic. I think the Stones play shows for the masses but they always add songs frequently to their set that are real fan favorites and haven't been played for years

Examples:

2005 As Tears Go By, Sway
2006 She Was Hot
2007 Can't You Hear Me Knocking

2013 Emotional Rescue
2014 Worried About You, Out Of Control
2016 Mixed Emotions
2017 She's A Rainbow, Dancing With Mr. D, Under My Thumb
2018 Fool To Cry, Like A Rolling Stone
2019 Sweet Virginia, Sad Sad Sad
2021 19th Nervous Breakdown

Mick is searching for songs like this to implement in the setlist! I don't expect an El Mocambo/Paradiso setlist because he is asking for favorites.

Not for a moment. But it entices engagement on social media (he posted the same video on both his and the RS instagram pages), so as to get likes, views, comments and so on.

Thinking about it now, "You Don't Have To Mean It" would be a nice song to hear on this tour.
