You would have liked to reduce the Stones as much as possible to a hard rock band. They are much more than that.

Yes they are. Some of my all-time-Stones favorites are slow songs - but live I always prefered them to rock and roll. (Maybe it´s time for bringing back hard rocking I Go Wild?)
They just got done doing "Moonlight Mile" in stadiums on the Zip Code Tour of 2015.
Every other show,rotating with "Wild Horses" .... and it worked out great.
It is alright if the majority of the crowd doesn't know 5% of the set list and the closing song of one of their best selling albums (if not the best selling album).
They will be (and were) able to tell that it is a good ballad,regardless.
That's a horrible idea. The acoustic set has been the highlight of the tour.
"Dead Flowers" has been in there a little bit too often but,otherwise,I can't complain about the acoustic sets.
Bringing back "I Go Wild" would be a great idea. I agree on that,though.

I´d love to see them drop the acoustic set. It was boring in 1994/95 and is still boring today. They should rotate four ballads, one per night - that´s enough. I prefer them to rock. Please no more boring Let It Bleed/Dead Flowers/Angies.

No Spare Parts would make sense in Phx, LA, TX. It might require rehearsal, tho. But, they ARE professionals.
Angie is always a favorite.

Like HMS I think the acoustic set only slows them down. And I don't understand the timing. Surely, it would fit better in the second part of the show.

Why limit it to songs that have been known mostly as acoustic in the past?....how about playing something formerly completely electric, like Let Me Go, Slave, Love is strong, or Laugh I nearly died? Of course it's totally absurd to hope for any radical changes like this but think about which of your favorite electric songs might sound good. Could be very interesting.

They could so easily drop 3 or 4 warhorses they are doing on top of the middle bit and please plenty of people.
My girlfriend has never seen them. I'm going to be with her to see the Stones. It will be fun... but I wish they'd play a few obscure/lesser known songs.
