I like the thought. But I guess the Stones will never announce the last gig. It will just happen. Bam and it will be over.

Yes I would pay a reasonable price, and yes I can top it.

Keep everything in your setlist, but extend it to 23 songs by adding Happy, Beast of Burden, and Dance Little Sister.

*Not too sure how you consider When the Whip Comes Down as "ultimate chicks themed", but if you say so - gotta keep it in the set!thumbs up

The Under Assistant West Coast Promo Man
2000 Man
Mr.Pitiful
Roll Over Beethoven
Prodigal Son

Dancing With Mr.D
Sympathy for the Devil
Where The Boys Go
Driving Too Fast
Monkey Man
Midnight Rambler
Jumping Jack Flash
Bye Bye Johnny

Plundered my soul and Following the river
Date: July 18, 2018 18:34

Great ballads! Stones should play them on the next tour.

Just saying ….

They could make all the song vote choices ballads and get away with it:
Following the River, If You Really Want To be My Friend, Wild Horses, Angie, Memory Motel, Fool To Cry, Out Of Tears, Heart Of Stone, Little Rain

Re: Plundered my soul and Following the river

Plundered my Soul isn't a ballad though is it? Following the River I agree is a great song, maybe a bit pompous but it definately deserves to be played live at least once. But of course it will never happen, they didn't even play a ballad half of the shows this year.

Re: Plundered my soul and Following the river
Date: July 18, 2018 19:44

Plundered my soul is probably not typical ballad but has great Melody and is not the rocker either.

Plundered my Soul wouldv been a great song to do on the 50 and counting tour, with mick taylor. I love it!

Sadly as the strong rumours of it being a 'new/recently written' song derived from a short loop(s) of an exert from something/some jam from 40years ago (,its NEVER been mentioned in ANY boots) id imagine the time and effort of the band having to learn the parts, and then how to play it live killed it at birth.

It's probly easier to revert to type and do something you've done before (however infrequent) than try and remember licks/riffs assembled in a studio in a pattern not necessarily as was originally played.

Thats my 50cents, but yeah great great song - it's also ben mentioned on here that its a little similar rhythmically to tumblin dice. doesnt bother me but it might some others

Be kind of pointless. The best part about Plundered is Bill's rubbery bass line. Plus it's a little close to Tumblin' Dice.

While it was exciting leading up to the release before hearing it, Plundered My Soul turned out to be a complete dud imo.

imo, going back to these tracks with modernized mick vokes was not a good match;
i think Mick's vocals during this period of trying to finish and release these tracks were a little too 'technique' addled, or something...
...that 'squeezed' kind of emoting thing that maybe he was trained to do to save his voice, dunno....
...for me it sounded out of context and wrong so many decades later. I think it was a grand idea though, but it didn't work for me personally.
