I can understand why people would want another Stones song instead. But I do get a big kick when they play it so I like seeing that its back. Again, I totally understand wanting a great hit or great rarity and this is just wasted space, but I can't not smile singing Like A Rolling Stone with Mick Jagger. As hokey as it is, its a dumb communal feeling thing that I usually wouldn't go for but think works well with them.

For tonight's gig at Twickenham, how about a "nugget" like they did with Salt of the Earth in 2003?

There just shouldn't be enough room in a 19 song set list for a cover version of "Like a Rolling Stone" anymore.
Considering that 1 of the 19 is already a blues cover (which is fine since "Blue and Lonesome" sold well).
And considering that 2 of the 19 are Richards lead vocal songs .... which now leaves JUST 15 original Stones songs with Jagger on lead vocals. Probably 12 of those are warhorses and 2 semi-near-warhorses.
So just one original Stones Jagger lead vocal non-warhorse which is very ridiculous to people who are fans of original Stones albums and the original material on those albums.
Then consider that they have already performed "Like a Rolling Stone" in almost all of these places during the '95 to '03 era and it does not seem like it is the best choice anymore.
The band considered the "Greatest Rock 'n Roll Band of All Time" now seems afraid to play their own material with the exception of a handful of songs.
