Mick, or his joke writer, seem to has a bone to pick with Tom Brady, he keeps going back to that deflated balls issue, oddly out of context going back to it.
To be fair, you couldn't name a sports personality more hated in Buffalo than Tom Brady. Brady also made a disparaging remark about the city in general and Buffalo hotels and the views afforded from them a few years back, so the comment was certainly something locals would eat up!
I forget which other city he made a similar joke... but it seemed odd then... and then popped up again tonight.
Maybe he and Tom and Gieslle(Tom's wife) are all jet setting buddies or something

It was Indianapolis. The Patriots beat the Colts in the Playoffs with Tom Brady using Deflated Footballs.

That was it... thanks
It would be intersting to someday hear the story of Micks jokes and stuff, how much was him and how much was "help".
I just think it is interesting that an Englishman, or any Englishperons, would give a second thought to that deflating balls thing. Doesnt everyone across the pond kind of famouslyhatenot care about our American Football?
I thought Buddy Holly was great with the CricketsQuote

I think Mick's real sporting interests are elsewhere today: tweeted how pleased he was that England beat the Australians in Cardiff (that's cricket, in which Americans are also famously not interested).
