The sound check was super cool.
Security was plastering up black vinyl tarps as fast as they could from the inside of the gates during Rocks Off to prevent anyone from seeing into the field area.

My son and I ended up sitting on the concrete peeking through a little opening a foot off of street level but directly across from the stage. I had chills too.
The Rolling Stones are the best.

Did anyone see whether Keith still did his usual run down the catwalk during Miss You? Just wondering out of curiosity whether he decided to keep on doing that or not after Indy.

Keith ripped into Bitch. I thought he played it with some attitude. His solos and fills are sounding excellent. I hope they keep goin' after Quebec. He just keeps improving each time I see him. Ronnie, this tour's mvp, had some raunchy guitar at times. Wish he was turned up a little more.
My buddy, his 1st Stones concert, thought they were great, fantastic, etc. He had a great time. He couldn't stop talking about it for the entire drive home(4.5ish hr). It was the warhorses that got him going. He talked a lot about TD and YCAGWYW
I was in the 300s, nosebleeds LD, but awesome seats for nosebleeds. Very satisfied with my LDs. So far I've done Columbus, Pittsburgh and now Detroit. They are all special, but last night's concert was a damn good time.

It's too bad (for us fans) the tour is winding down. They seem to be the "hottest" I remember them since maybe the Licks tour. Playing well all around. Another 20 dates would satisfy my blood lust. Or a quick stop in Muscle Shoals to cut a new rootsy album.

Detroit got a great setlist! Much rather her ADTL or Imagination than Out Of Control any day.
Nice tribute to Motown in playing Imagination. Would be great to have a song done especially for Buffalo on Saturday...and though we have had a few locally bred musically successes, I can't see the Stones covering Rick James (Mick singing Superfreak while Darryl shreds the bass line) or 10,000 Maniacs or Goo Goo Dolls!
On Rip This Joint Mick does sing a line about Buffalo...would be a nice surprise on Saturday.
Hope all enjoyed the show. They sounded tight on Periscope. Thanks to those who posted!
