I just ordered this when I saw it, not realizing it was the “Exhibitionism” book with a different title. Mine arrives tomorrow. Wouldn’t have ordered if I had known. Feel like that should have been mentioned. Oh well. Guess I’ll call myself a completist and claim I did it on purpose. Ha!

Just curious what you get for $250 for the opening gala do one of the members of the band show up? The next day admission drops to $30.

I think it includes a warm glass of white wine. If only they’d scheduled opening a month earlier, they could have teamed up with Oktoberfest.

The Museum in Kitchener is also hosting an exhibit of Ronnie’s art, starting November 4th and running into next year.

I was able to revisit Unzipped yesterday. It was nice to see Matt’s collection again.

I’m not sure how all these IORR Band picks ended up in Edith Grove but, as the exhibit came direct from Groningen,I have my suspicions.

Edith Grove wasn’t located in Oakville (it’s about half an hour from Toronto, so not even close) but someone has recently visited Unzipped and has gotten a bit creative….

I'm going this Saturday. Any advice/tips from those that have been (can't misses, must sees, etc).

It’s been rebranded Unzipped and I haven’t seen it since then but it still has plenty of my stuff. Charlie bless him called their first contract the most poignant item in the exhibition (Brian went off to sign it alone). The exhibition also has my copy of their first recording at IBC studio, my Street Fighting Mam sleeve and a bunch of my posters. I assume they still have the really cool part where you can mix tracks and isolate the different channels, that’s super interesting and a lot of fun. Enjoy!

The content doesn’t seem a lot different than in London in 2016 and, yes, they still have the mixing area where you can play around with a bunch of tracks. I was surprised that there was relatively little merch for sale - not sure if it’s supply side issues or what. I feel bad for the museum, the show was interrupted for weeks due to COVID and now they can’t pad their bottom line with merch sales… I hope they don’t take a loss on it.

It has been extended until end of March to make up for the lost month of January.
