Singer Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones opens the exhibition Unzipped in the Groninger Museum on Thursday at 5 p.m. View the teaser for the opening act here.

Due to the corona pandemic, the official opening is a completely digital affair. Music journalist Leo Blokhuis has a conversation with Mick Jagger via a computer connection about the realization of the exhibition.

Director Andreas Blühm of the Groninger Museum and the television presenters Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and Humberto Tan also feature in the film.

The exhibition about the Rolling Stones is open to the public from Friday. Tickets can be reserved here.

Well, what to say? the "entering the museum" part was nice. Mr. Blokhuis didn't prepare himself well (no surprise really), because every Dutch fan knows by now that the Stones ran out of the Kurhaus in the middle of the 5th song. It's all well documented.
Does anybody know about Mick wearing, apart from the white outfit, an orange version as well during the 1969 Hyde Park concert of July 5?
The Dutch banker's story was nice. That's the way things were in those days. The other interviews were supervisual. I feel the museum director is genuinely enthousiastic.
The DHL commercial, following the "opening video", was funny. Anyway, I'm ready to pick a day to go and see the exhibition.

Nice video thanks, but I could only understood the parts where Mick was speaking ha. I do have Dutch ancestry, but unfortunately I don't speak the language.
That jazzy instrumental version of Paint it Black at the end...loved it...reminded me a bit of the great Karl Gott version, but w/out the vocals.
Anybody know what version it is?

Thanks Irix and Mabru, and I must have missed it the first time skimming through the video - the band performing Paint it Black is called Gallowstreet!

From wiki - translated to English via google: Gallowstreet

Not a question or a word about Mick Taylor, Mr Blokhuis, or not allowed to ask, no guts to ask or no in-depth insights as usual??? Nothing about Taylor in the book either I understood. Taylor wiped out from the historie of the Stones.

Come on! Don't be like that! Every member of the band was an important part of the whole history!! From Ian Stewart to Brian Jones. From Mick Taylor to Ronnie Wood.

Yes, he left the band, but let's not forget his amazing guitar play, his important role between 1969 and 1974 in music, the timing when he joined the band. I hate it when people just 'erase' or downgrade his part in Stones history. Too easy, too low! Sorry to say this.

Of course he was; Taylor is my favourite guitarist within the Stones. But if it goes like this they don't tango anymore, otherwise he would still be in the picture.

I'm going to see the photo-exhibition in the Aa-Kerk this afternoon,
Groningen is really a cool little town these days :-)

Even the Martini-tower is playing Stones-songs:

I think I will go in January. Much easier for me. Although it's gonna be a long ride from Rotterdam to Groningen. But I love it.

Did this before for the Bowie expo. Great museum by the way, Groninger Museum.

The Museum seems like a great venue to hold the exhibition.
Were there any changes between the previous Exhibitionism and the current UnZipped?

Nice preview/promo.

There could be a special treasure hunt set up for the fans - first one to find any mention or photo of Mick Taylor wins a prize!
Of all the great pics posted above by ErwinH (thanks!), I see no clear hint of Taylor anywhere, yet they give Ronnie a spotlight with one of his gaudy scribbled setlists boldly displayed?
