When we were going through things, we found these lyric books
of Mick's from the Some Girls era. It was really a great discovery.

On the list of credits (photo, previous page).
Not sure if its a deliberate error but Allen Klein's company referred to as:
ABKO should be ABKCO of course.
Surprised long standing retired Tour Manager (etc) Alan Dunn not donated anything?

Here's one of the pages of Keith's diary written in 1963:

[twitter.com]

Ace to see it! I remember having doubts that there was one. grinning smiley

Keith referred to one of his early diaries in Life, and some people here at the time made up their minds that these diaries were a complete work of fiction, along with a couple of letters he quoted. As you say, ace to see it!

Bit confused about the Diaries.
Keith refers to them in Life and yet 6 years later, in the promotion and hype period for the event, he seemed to be saying he hadnt realised they existed!

I think Linda Lawrence "Leith" also an error, should be Leitch.

Linda Lawrence Leitch was a serious girlfriend of Brian Jones. She should write a book. Linda was 15 in 1962 when she met Brian, age 20. She and some friends had gone to see the Stones play the Ricky Tick Club in her hometown of Windsor. She is mother to Brian's son Julian. He had already fathered at least two children by the time Julian was born. In 1970 Linda married singer Donovan Leitch, a friend of Brian's. She met Donovan when they were all on the set of Ready Steady Go. Donovan raised Brian's son Julian as his own. Donovan and Linda had two kids Oriole Nebula and Astrella Celeste. Their half-siblings in California are actress Ione Skye, star of Tell Me Anything with John Cusack, and her brother Donovan Leitch, friend of Jagger and singer in Nancy Boy -- great album. Nancy Boy's bass player Nigel Mogg is one of Marlon's best friends. Wow I didn't realize I'm carrying around so much trivia in my head.

I like it and will occasionally purchase.
My children don't find it funny at all. I think political satire hasn't the same appeal to their generation.
HIGNFY needs to change its format somehow, its got very samey.

Apologies, not Stones related... but can I ask JLOWE if "IPC Business Press" means something special to you?

Hello Captain,
I'm not sure if I understand your question, perhaps you could clarify please?

Ah. In Mid 1970's I used to work at an employer with that name, and a colleague was a JLOWE, so I wondered if you were (are?) the same person.

Morning Captain.
He is not me I'm afraid.I hope he was/is a good guy..don't want to let the old name down.
I get mixed up with John Lowe (former world darts champion), also lives in Derbyshire (UK). Nothing in common....he has had fame, fortune and of course a large stomach. I would swap places, however!

Try this, customerservice@softix.com. They got back to me the same day. Also, by the way it took 7-8 days for me to receive my vip tickets in Germany.

That is so good to see them in a long conversation together.

Lets face it though, these four guys probably have more friendly chats like this, than we will ever know.

My opinion is ,they all get on great and speak to each other on the phone or face to face quite a lot.

More like brothers than anything else..............and anyone who has a brother will know ,you don't get on all of the time............but you still love them. winking smiley

Lovely video and a very rare occurrence...just the two of them being interviewed together...in the same room!
At times, it seemed like an out-take from the TV series "STELLA STREET"

Keith tells more or less the same story in "Life on the Road", but I got the impression that Brian were calling from a phone booth.

''Keith tells more or less the same story in "Life on the Road", but I got the impression that Brian were calling from a phone booth. ''

All those years ago, and even now I guess, houses that were turned into flats or bedsits usually had a payphone, in the hallway. Lived in one or two places that had that setup myself.
