I've never been to America, so don't know what type of thing prevents one from travelling there.

Regarding Cuba.

The Rolling Stones have no limitations to give a concert there. Actually, they have tried before (I fail to remember when exactly). The reason why the plan was abandoned was that the crew would possibly get into trouble as it has many Americans. So for the safety of the crew it didn't go through..

If plans exist, and I assume they do, I think the opening for US citizens is too tight to add Cuba to the current plans.

"There's some news today on Brazilian press claiming that the SA Tour will be postponed - again. I'm not sure how reliable that info is, but perhaps (my guess, only) it has something to do with the Pearl Jam concerts here which will happen almost at the same time, so that would be a problem regarding the ticket sales."

This thread should be renamed South America hopefully by 2020

I agree with you and I have the same opinion. Obviously, what I wrote it's just a guessing, I don't have any solid info about it and the news about the SA tour being postponed again started to be published here in Brazil yesterday morning, so who knows? Anyway, I'm keeping my faith on their coming, if not this year, perhaps in 2016.

Probably at this time they're thinking about the possibility of a a new "Concept Tour" 2016 in South America and Europe with a new studio album to record in the fall of this year...

All this touring, the NYLON before, the USA tour, Europe and Aussie last year and the USA this summer has all just been rehearsals for the real tour in South America this fall. It is going to be spectacularerer, more spectacular, most specatualarist...

Basically, this article states that "until last week an official announcement was expected for July, but in the last hours everything has changed. The local promoters and sponsors are being warned since friday (July 3) that the Stones won't come in 2015. The message was sent by the band themselves, that are currently touring in USA. The reasons for the postponement are not clear yet, and the band is expected to come in 2016".
