give it a month or 2 and there will be a blu ray dvd cd and vinyl release with japanese bonus tracks of when the whip comes down, all down the line, rock me baby and can't turn you loose

Basically it means it's over compressed so it's louder, but you lose a lot of detail in the instrument sounds, and the quiet parts are less quiet than they were actually played.

It's not the end of the world, but it's not a "real" recording of how it was played and how it sounded at the show.

It's okay for Ipods and such but if you have a nice stereo it's a waste.

And it will wear on your ears if you're listening for a long time.

This release is mastered for iTunes and for digital listening. However, the files are in the m4a-format. It sounds great on my stereo right now.

Don't forget that the songs on SF have great natural dynamics. Passing on this release would be ridiculous, imo.

This live album is very high up on the list of their greatest live albums. To be honest, I didn't see that coming.
