I like it a lot. I like the album as well for the most part. I doubt I would like the Babyface version with Clapton.

What makes the song work is that it was recorded live in the studio in basically one take.
In the age of Pro-tools and digital editing, well... thumbs up

But on the other hand it was the song Babyface and friends tried some 100 versions of . .
Ahh,I like it!

HORRIBLE

The whole song reeks of that over-emotional sappy Jagger solo stuff. It sounds like an outtake from She's The Boss, but with Don Was production value. The buildup and the chorus are great, its the verses I dislike.

I'm a big B2B fan, but I never listen to Already Over Me. Not for me.

I'd enjoy it more without Already Suffering on the same LP. Or is it Always Over Me?
Whichever is which, I consider this the better one. But I'd rather have a fourth Keith track

Yea.

BUT the song promises more in the intro than it can deliver, imo.

Very nice guitar playing from Keith and Ronnie thumbs up

They should have merged them smiling smiley

Come to think of it, they both have the same weaknesses: The choruses.

Great verses, though.

Would still like to hear that version, didn't remember Clapton playing on it though?

What I do remember is that Keith claimed that Mick was whining because he didn't like Babyface's version (the way it was "looped" ) and that he (Keith) had to get rid of the guy for him, hehe...Oh and he also claimed to have told Babyface that after working with Mick he'd look like him, i.e. "F**kface" !
