The piano player - it is obviously a session man. Must be Nitzsche. Whoever it is, got a lot of space on this album. Maybe "My Obsession" is Stu. It has his odd phrasings: that behind the beat lag, that Stu often used.

Still, looking long and hard at the UK Track listing, the original album as they, and production team, envisioned it...it would still work for me.
Yes, even with the criticism of the recording process and them experimenting
with varying styles....

I still doubt that If You Let Me is from these sessions, it sounds so much more from the previous Aftermath sessions.

I very much like "Who's Driving Your Plane?". The rest of those songs I don't really care about.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Ruby Tuesday and Let’s Spend the Night Together are great songs.I can’t think of many in the last 30 years they have released that are as good. And She Smiled Sweetly , Yesterday’s Papers,Connection, and Back Street Girl are excellentQuote

No. In find it rather annoying to be honest. Part The Monkees, part fake chaotic rock, part psychedelic strange noises. Very different from the heavy blues rock of "Who's Driving Your Plane" which is what they are so good at (it's like a early sibling of "Black Limousine") and which I love.
Apart from "Who's Driving Your plane", I kind of like "Let's Spend The Night Together" on the Still Life album and Ruby Tuesday is cute. But the rest annoys me. It's the one album I could do without. I rather listen to TSMR or DW (skipping a few songs here and there of course).
