All right, just got home and had a bite to eat. It was a great show, no doubt. IORR and Happy got a little confused at the ends, but CYHMK, You Gotta Move, and Some Girls were all awesome. I'll try and write a detailed review for the site tomorrow morning.

Before this tour, when is the last time Keith has played slide guitar live with the Stones?

The band were on heat tonight, in the heat of Atlanta. First time I've heard You Gotta Move since Earls Court in 1976!!

Here is some set list analysis, or whining if you like, together with my morning
soured milk and müsli: The first 2/5 of the set is great. Maybe except for IORR
and D&G (which easily could be replaced). It's basically the warhorse bonanza
that starts with HTW that is very repetitive and predictable. No one could predict
You Got To Move and Some Girls though (except for those listening to the
rehearsals maybe).

1 Start Me Up
2 It's Only Rock 'n' Roll
3 All Down The Line
4 Tumbling Dice
5 Doom 'n' Gloom
6 CYHMK
7 You Got To Move
8 Some Girls (By request)
9 Honky Tonk Women
-- band intros --
10 Before They Make Me Run
11 Happy
12 Midnight Rambler
13 Miss You
14 Gimme Shelter
15 Jumpin' Jack Flash
16 Sympathy For The Devil
17 Brown Sugar

ENCORES

18 YCAGWYW with the Emory University Concert Choir
19 Satisfaction

Wow, I'd have been thrilled to get this setlist! thumbs up

Actually, if they just did You Gotta Move 19 times, I'd be happy.

Just got back to Tennessee from Atlanta. The sprinkles stopped before the show and Hotlanta was Coolanta. A great set to start from St. Paul & The Broken Bones. I thought the sound quality and musicianship from the Rolling Stones was strong. I may have personally preferred one or two different early songs but very satisfied overall. I chose this show over Nashville and it will be tough to beat.

Just finished my meetings today to see this cool setlist. One question for fellow obsessive fans - has anyone been timing the shows? I would think they'd be 15-20 minutes shorter than 2013, when Taylor was on Rambler and setlists were 22 songs long. But are they? I didn't notice last year, probably because Midnight Rambler went on for such a long time. But Minneapolis last week sure "felt" short.

True. Drinking my morning coffee reading this thread the biggest surprise was actually the absence of IORR, it felt so refreshing!... Until I realized that people just had forgot to report about it.
But it's great to at least have You Gotta Move + Some Girls thumbs up

As for the setlist after HTW, they need to mix it up. Something like this: (later half from 1999)

You Got The Silver
Before They Make Me Run
Out Of Control
Route 66
Get Off Of My Cloud
Midnight Rambler
Start Me Up
Brown Sugar
Sympathy for the Devil (encore)

That's tough for me, I don't have the ticket grabbing technique others here have. I'm afraid I'll be spending my night in a Toronto strip club instead fantasizing over a women that resembles Mick Taylor.

Absolutely the greatest post in the history of IORR ever

The start and end times are always shown in BV's reports of each show.

YT will take 2 or 3 days - then you usually have more than 1 offer for each song.

Sorry folks - in my semi-conscious state at whatever-o'clock in the morning before Periscope kicked in, I completely missed IORR as you'll see from my post expressing surprise at a SMU/ADTL opening. Honestly thought it hadn't been played until right at the end when I realised I only had 18 songs accounted for.

with_sssoul the picture was a quick repost off the #stonesatlantaTwitter feed and they don't usually come with credits - the ones from Rob Felt at Georgia Tech were a lucky exceeption. It is nice, isn't it - I'll see if I can find out.

Exactly what I thought - still, the trx after didn't disappoint.......(even if I did think the absence of iorr had made the gap for the new ones...........

You're forgetting one thing. They are the Rolling Stones, they don't need to do anything.

You're right. Need is the wrong choice of word. No band needs to play anything they don't want to play.

Should, is a better choice of word.

I don't think that will happen, Blockbuster. They tend to follow the same pattern. They can mix 2-4 (usually 2) songs among the first 8 songs. That's it. After HTW everything is fixed.
