Sorry I missed it but how was You Got To Move? And did they nail Some Girls? Thanks.

Tempo changes on YCAGWYW pretty adventurous and they pulled it off.

Is that Ronnie I hear ripping it up on the Satisfaction rhythm? Did they take the leash off him tonight or what?

Really sounds like Mick is enjoying himself tonight...Love this band.

peace
You know they read my complaints.. First thing tomorrow I'm going to look into flights to Orlando Friday... May be a pipe dream but I have a pipe.

Only caught Brown Sugar thru Satisfaction tonight and all I can say is WOW. They really turned up the heat as far as I can tell. Just great energy and wild playing and singing at the end there. If the whole show was that good I can only imagine Georgia got the best one so far.

Cheers and respect to all the fans here that are staying up all night to watch this, pleasant dreams.

peace

Orlando will get Columbus'd. How do I know that? Because i am going. Save your money and go to a show that is not in Orlando, Pitt, buffalo or Quebec

Not in my schedule, only Raleigh is possible besides Orlando. Last minute flights look expensive to Orlando even from NY.. East Coasters got real screwed this summer but that's for another thread. I don't know, but I have a day to figure it out..

For Orlando I will be on the Isle of Wight watching Fleetwood Mac and I won't have access to my desktop PC so no Periscope (snarl mutter curse).

SO glad it was a good 'un tonight: thanks to all the scopers.

That's tough for me, I don't have the ticket grabbing technique others here have. I'm afraid I'll be spending my night in a Toronto strip club instead fantasizing over a women that resembles Mick Taylor.

Saw them last year. Very intimate in a California sort of style.

That was a great show tonight. The band is shaking off the rust and picking up steam. Wish I could attend every show from here on out but going to be settling for Milwaukee this time around. Luckily we have this periscope thing going to get a feel for being there. Big thanks to those who did their thing from Atlanta and to our members who kept us linked throughout the show. See y'all in 3 days for the Florida show.

Can't wait to hear reviews from folks who attended. Even on mobile phones tonight seemed a cut above the rest. CYHMK, YGM, SG... All played with vigor. Some Girls was a real surprise in terms of skill, vibe and intensity.

Elmo Lewis give us a review!

Wow! That was just a KILLER SET LIST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope we get more of the same in Orlando on Friday. I'm hoping for CYHMK, and You Gotta Move would be a real sticky treat.

Thanks to the 'scopers tonight. Too bad we didn't have any of the truly dedicated strong-armed souls, who would keep a steady stream for most (if not all) of the night.

I've thought about bitcasting when I go, but to be honest, at these prices I'm not going to do anything that'll wreck my experience (or that of the people behind me). I'm sure it's easier up in the stands than it is down at the front of the floor.

I was reading some Nietzsche this evening and he said that the English 'have neither rhythm nor dance in the movements of their souls'. Clearly he died 60 years too early.

Wow, what a show tonight, heard from the links, the set list, playing, and singing!
I didn't hear the closer, will have to look around for Satisfaction tomorrow!

Wasn't the first or last of his countrymen to underestimate the British :-)

Just got back to my hotel.
A great show with many ups and a few downs.
The overall sound was dominated by LOUD guitars.
Great, great crowd. Everyone was standing throughout the show.

Here's a few of my favourite highlights and episodes:

It was a solid beginning with Start Me Up, IORR, ADTL and Tumbling Dice.
They were rocking and rolling as only The Stones know how to do.

Can't You Hear Me Knocking was a great surprise.
I expected Bitch or something similar because Keith had a Gibson Junior Les Paul around his neck. It turned out that he had that guitar tuned in open G.
The sound of it was monumental. This version is the closest I've heard to the original from Sticky Fingers. Keith's timing was spot on and perfect.
Both Karl and Ronnie played great solos, while Mick was shaking maracas behind Charlie.

You Gotta Move was an even bigger surprise.
Keith played the main riff with slide on a 12 string acoustic.
Again, his timing and playing was brilliant. Real down to earth Delta Blues.
Ronnie supplied with electric slide guitar.
Mick sang really cool.
A fantastic version they should do more often.

Some Girls was the third surprise of the evening.
I expected You Got ME Rocking or Street Fighting Man to win the vote.
It was a great version with loud guitars, although Mick didn't remember all of the lyrics and began singing the bridge way too early.

When Keith was introduced by Mick, he walked all the way down to the end of the catwalk, then ran back to the stage again and sang Before They Make Me Run with a strong voice.
Keith seems to be in really good shape. Nothing but incredible, when I think back to some of the rather weak performances in Europe 2007.

Happy, however, was one big mess. Enough said.
So was Rambler at times. I don't know what Keith was doing, but he didn't play the riffs like he does perfect almost every other night. Much of the groove that makes Rambler so special was missing. Mick did a fantastic job to cover for the shaky guitar work. Charlie laughed at the end of it all.

From then on, the band gave the crowd great and solid versions of Shelter, Flash, Sympathy, Sugar, YCAGWYW and Satisfaction - although Keith made a mistake on that last famous riff. Mick just laughed, Keith stopped and smiled, hit again - this time perfect.

What a great show tonight!
Great set list too. Mixing it up.
Do you realize they've done a different set list each show?

Orlando will be interesting as there is little pre-show buzz for that
One. Someone commented tonight that the Stones have outlived the energy
Of their aging fans. I hope the kids that go can makeup the energy.

Pretty sure they always do a different set list each show. Sometimes more variation than not.

Oh no, there have been entire tours where they did the same show every night.
In those days, fans had no idea what they did in the city before.

I'm still in the parking garage letting traffic thin out, and about to leave. All I can say is wow! Only downside was Mick left out the best line in SG, nobody wanted to get it all night, whether black, or white like on No Security tour. Guitars were great, Keith really loud on Shelter and JJF. And I wished I could have seen Taylor with them last year, but Ronnie was on fire enough to make me think... Mick Taylor who? Best show so far and not just because I was there. Man they were on fire!

Indeed. Pretty sure there was a time they'd do the same set list twice in one day.

Do you mean Mick Taylor or Mick Jagger? Just curious because I can maybe help your fantasies by posting some especially sexy Mick Jagger images..but I don't have much on Taylor.
