Hey guys! Thought I'd start a new everyday thread as we prepare for the Black and Blue reissue, new album and tour! In these threads I will list every released song recorded during an album's sessions. These will include songs released as singles, b-sides, songs on other albums, bonus tracks and so on. You guys tell me what your favorite song(s) are from the sessions! Today I am starting with the Aftermath sessions! Let me know if I'm missing any songs or any other cool info you might have about the sessions! smileys with beer

Stupid Girl
Lady Jane
Under My Thumb

They are all good. That would have made a great double album

There was an outtake "Looking Tired" in addition, which I think was from those sessions.

And a projected album never to be was COULD YOU WALK ON THE WATER? What I do not know, is whether this was to include only some of the songs in the opening post or (almost) all of them. Both alternatives I have read about over time. Other more informed posters will certainly know.

I'm very fond of Aftermath, especially the UK version, so I like basically all songs you listed. I also like "Long Long While" very much, a pity they didn't put that one on the album. Well constructed song, interesting structure and well sung by Mick Jagger.

I do agree. For me, it's one of their finest B-sides, from an era when the flip-side of a single really meant something.
