No rain, No Like a Rolling Stone(my vote), No CYHMK.
But they played Moonlight Mile again. I cried again. Hahaha.

Now I am waiting for my flight to go back to Tokyo. This is posting from Minneapolis Airport.
No accommodation tonight.grinning smileygrinning smiley

Love the pictures A Bigger Nut! I hope you had a safe flight and everything.

Last night was great and took some nice pics, one of them was this one...
Jagger didn't mind that Lisa wasn't on Gimme Shelter...

I actually think that the Stones don't understand the concept of playing a different show every night. Thats never been the way they have done things. Since 1964, they work on a show they think will be pleasing to the audience and they do their best to deliver it .

Great shots by so many here. This one is particularly good. Sweet to see the obvious love between Keith and Charlie captured so well.

Seemed Ronnie was quite animated last night. Quite different from Columbus from what I've seen.

Seemed like they nailed it last night. Really happy they seemed to put on such a stellar performance. I'm sure they are the talk of the town today.

The guesting on GS may not have been perfect but for me it was a welcome break from Lisa's howling. I think Mick has come to rely on her too much for that song and it would have been difficult for anyone to step up and basically take over the tune as Lisa has done. It's Mick that really needs to step up on that one, imo.

peace

Thanks for the picture, but that's some ugly merchandise, I wouldn't wear any of it...

About Gimme Shelter, It's obviously better to have anyone but Lisa singing on it. The best solution would maybe be to not have anyone other than Mick singing on it, and instead give Ronnie some space to play some solos over it, like in 1975.

You've got it right. I'm also shocked they don't have better merchandise, it is indeed ugly and overpriced. You would think that they could do much better considering how sharp the Stones dress and look on stage. At least have some truly vintage looking stuff for a Sticky Fingers tour, pretty sure it would sell well.

Must have the same folks doing the merch as they have doing the website, the Apps, the contests and the special packages. eye popping smiley

Lots of complaints about the quality of the sound. Many people are saying U2 sounded much better at the same venue.

Where'd you get this info, curious?

May have something to do with where you are seated.

Stones in San Diego....I thought had really good sound quality for a stadium show.
I saw U2 3 days later at the Forum (arena) and at the GA level, the sound was not as good as Petco Stones show, however I saw U2 again a few days later with upper level seats, at the same venue, and the sound was much better (than when I was at the GA level), but it took a few songs to get that way.

This is a scene of happy birthday song (to Ronnie and Charlie) in band intro. So Mick was a bit far away.

They sometimes make some mistakes, but this is the live. And even so, they are still a great R&R band. One and only grooves.
If you go to the show, they never let us down. There are more 12 shows. Have fun!

P.S.
While I was wearing a MPLS shirt in Minneaplis Airport this morning, so many people talked to me.
Did you go? How was that?
That makes me feel happy. smiling smiley

THANKS AGAIN EVERYBODY HERE.

I´m here in Berlin, still Waldbühne in my blood, but far away from any Zip Code

tonight I was part of the gig again.

Thanks to those periscope-Heroes I sat at 4 o´clock in the night on my sofa woke up by my cat (thanks Burschi!!) and was in middle of the opining act and first 6
songs!

As a IORR´rer who is far away from the tour-locations you can feel safe here - the heroes will look after for you.

BV - as always with a short review right after the gig and a then a big good one later.

dbryant - fast and precise, humorous!!

AND: Cristiano R. - what a job again from your home feeding us with pictures and
insight´s from all the reachable sources of your Stones-univers.
Chistiano, BV really should ask the Stones to hire you as our paid fan-connector!

Thanks: IORR is already and again on Tour-fire right on time!

It was my pleasure, caschimann!

It's always fun when we have a Stones concert going on and although it's always great to be seeing the boys playing wherever they are, sometimes it's good to be at home with a beer or two trying to find some nice pics and infos to post here. smileys with beer

BTW: A big thank you to cmc, who was there last night and have sent some e-mails with pics and infos about the soundcheck.
