Kinda strange and perhaps a bit telling seeing Mick all alone by the plane. Kinda prefer to see the band together on shots like this..

Forgetting about the LZ Starship (a 717) the two RS planes above are not the same plane. Look closely at the pics and where the tongue is. The picture below is the plane they used in 2013 (hint, part of the tail number is on the gear door).
No, this picture is from March 16, 2014 and was taken in Perth, Australia during the 1st leg of the '14 on Fire' Tour: [www.iorr.org] .
What Naturalust meant was that he would rather see the Stones completely in front of the Tour Jet instead of Mick alone ....
It was also used in 2013 in North America. It's the ZS-DJI plane. That plane is not the one they are currently using. When they left San Diego for Columbus I tracked them.
They are at the motel 6 by the freeway. Just drive by. If you see that they left the light on for you, you found them. I hear they sit by the pool all day. Must be why that patio ain't dry.

Wonder who makes that huge tongue logo for them? Would take some pretty big equipment to pull that off.
And speaking of the tongue, I know its a RS brand and all but it's losing it's charm for me with a bit too much overuse. There was a time when it was cool and hip but millions of t-shirts and hundreds of variations later I kinda feel like it's being crammed down my throat. (pun intended). Like the set list, time to mix it up a bit, imo, and I don't just mean another tour poster with some clever local icon integrated on the tongue.

Greensboro News and Record has an article and photos today on the tour plane the Stones are switching to this week. Guess they had to wait for Neil Diamond to finish his tour.
Found the instructions on how to paste photos but not sure it's the same for pasting articles so maybe someone can paste for us.

Being from TN, I'm supposed to hate the Florida Gators but I must say, I do like that story about them using the Stones plane to get to the college world series. Interesting to learn that, although the logo stays on, it's only "the Stones plane" on the dates that they use it. Not knowing anything about that industry, I assumed that it was "theirs" from the time they picked it up at the beginning of the tour until the time they returned it at the end. Hope nothing falls out of anyone's pockets that could get anyone in trouble!
