Yes, but it's not too uncommon for heavy metal and hard rock bands to tune down from E to Eb, while playing in standard tuning. It's definetely not typical of Keith to change the key of his signature songs. But it might be for vocal reasons as you suggest, but I doubt it'll make much difference.

If you're so in love with the facial expression, why not single out this one?? The lips are truly spectacular, never seen anything like it.
Is that directed at me? If so, for the record, I'm not "so in love" w/ a facial expression. I found it "soulful & moving" - big diff. Let's not overstate my statement, K?
BTW, I do recall you mentioning earlier in the thread that you see something unusual about Keef's lips in the above pic. They're at least 1/3 covered by the mic and I don't see anything outside the realm of normalcy. Curious as to what you find remarkable about the lips.

I love both of them (though I've always had a special thing for Mick).
After I read Keith's autobiography I felt like I knew him. One of my grandmother's best friends met Keith and he seems like such a sweet man, among his many other interesting qualities and talent.
Until this week I thought he was a wrestler.............

Latvian's pics are always excellent and it's so generous of him to share them here (thank you, Latvian!). For me, the photo above is the best of the best. The facial expression and body language are soulful & moving - it's a truly poetic shot. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best live Keith pic I've seen in ages.

I'm watching the videos on Youtube right now and wonder what happened on Paint It Black with Keith or with his guitar. He left the stage for about 50 seconds near the end, talked to somebody backstage (his guitar guy?) and left quickly with him. The guy took the guitar and grabbed a suitcase. Did Keith break a string? Could somebody there see, what happened?

I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but his mouth looks oddly funny to me. Pressed against the mic perhaps.
There was an interview with him on Google Play about the Bootleg Series where he pulled his lower lip with his finger where I had a similar "WTF was that" moment.

P.S... I just said f it and bought field/floor seats to Pittsburgh. I couldn't resist. I really feel the need to see them again, I don't know if I'll every see them again and I better live it up now rather than regret it later!! I saw Roger Waters in Pittsburgh 4 years ago, and it was a wonderful time. Looking forward to Heinz Field!
