I've been in the area since Tuesday and rain/thunderstorms have been predicted for every day, and it hasn't rained since Tuesday afternoon. Even if it does rain, the Rolling Stones will be playing, and I have tickets for section B row 20...not worried in the least about the weather!

I've seen the Stones before in the rain; Wembley 99 rained and Sheffield 99 absolutely lashed down.
That said, I'd rather it didn't rain and the possible thunderstorms could delay the show which would be a drag....

They're not likely going to cancel.

I just don't want to spend the day/night in the rain.

On scale, +5 at this point

As long as they keep playing, I hope it pours, pours, pours. It'll be fun and in the oncoming years we can be like, oh how 'bout that rainstorm in Columbus?

Like I said in the other thread, I don't care about rain, it's the thunderstorms that worries me.

I'm worried about time before factoring in the weather - I need to be to work at 8:30 AM on Sunday in Rochester, NY; 6 and a half hours from Columbus. So if traffic getting out of the show is bad enough, I'm looking at basically going straight to work without even stopping off home in between. Factor in possible delays for weather, not looking good sad smiley

Yeah, I have to drive back to Indianapolis after the show, not as far as you nor do I have to get to work but I do have to be up at 8am so was hoping for a bit more than 3 hrs sleep; especially as I'm at a show in Chicago tonight and won't be home until 3am...Thunderstorms could easily push back stage time to 10 or 11pm...

I never got an answer about whether "1" was very concerned and "10" not concerned, or vice versa, so I am going to have to play it safe and say that I'm a "5"

I'll have a 20 foot flagpole in the lot, so as long as I'm not near it when lightning strikes (or someone has a 21 foot flagpole that attracts the lightning!) I'm not too worried.

The best show I saw by far on the Voodoo Lounge tour was in Philadelphia in a driving rainstorm.

You know, like a pain scale, how much pain do you feel, on a scale from one to ten?
1=almost none at all, 10=maximum (concern.)

Yeah sry I just assumed it was like the pain scale. 1 is not concerned and 10 is very. Sorry about not clarifying that

0, since I won't be there but I do hope it doesn't cause problems for people who are there.

On the other hand a huge lightening and thunder event is just what Gimme Shelter needs to add a bit of danger and excitement these days. eye popping smiley

A huge display as the Stones take the stage, Keiths opening chords harmonized by Thor's contribution from the sky, that could be pretty magical.

peace
